A lot of what I do centers around classic fantasy, mythology, giant monster related science fiction (kaiju) and critters of all kinds.

Oh I'm still around. I collect and fave art here all the time. I just don't post very often because finding time to color my art and write is more difficult when I'm juggling a full time job. I haven't set up a separate gallery anywhere else if that's what you're wondering.

I think I accumulated enough things to talk about to throw another message toward my most obscure friend that is you, the Ren, the cryptid of our entire circle.

Remember that commercial from the late 90s and early 1000's?
The biggest thing I can speak of is a bigass upgrade to my computer tower. It all started with a desire to play my current Steam libary games better, as some chugged. Like Subnautica. Going off on a small tangent with that, the game fits my aesthetic something fierce. Alien organisms, in the ocean? Yes please, yes sire, gimme gimme gimme. Though a recent glitch making me lose my seamoth has me not wanting to play it..... BUUUUUTTTT, DLC is finally in Beta, so perhaps I will pick it up sooner than I expect.
BACK TO THE COMPUTER TOWER!
I needed a better CPU as it was bottle necking my current graphics card... BUT my old motherboard was old and so no new CPU was being produced for it. So I had get a new motherboard, to get a new CPU, and I got new ram as well, going from two sticks of 4Gig to two sticks of eight 8Gig. ANNNND luckily the new board fits my old tower, so I didn't have to buy a new tower! I'm happy about that part. It was affordable with my new job because of it.
Now I can play Subnautica with smooth as hell frames, and eventually I can move onto Jurassic World Evolution at some point or another.
This effectively also lengthens my computers life with new hardware, something I really needed since last July my computer's hardrive went byebye. I believe Geeksquad described it as it making a noise of "Ker-Klunk!" I probably extended this machines life for another 5 years at least. All thanks to the amazing store that is known as Micro Center. Ever been to one? Holy christ what a place of wonderus technology.
But right on cue as I get it home, I find my speakers no longer function! ...yeah, I was like "wtf?" because I thought the instalation of the new stuff may have messed something up. Nope. The old-ass speakers that date back to the early 2000's decided NOW to die, so I had to buy a new set. Sucked, but... hey, alright. I got a nice new set which work better. I'm okay with this.
I have taken up a sale on Steam as well with Hollow Knight. Hear of it? It reminds me a ton of Dark Souls, and you can bet K found that comparison funny since every game in this last two years has been compared to it. But no shit, it really does. The names of the bosses, the dark color scheme, the dreadful feeling of a dying kingdom as you walk around it; it REALLY is a lot like Dark Souls to me specifically. Just add platformer to it. Game only cost me 10 bucks, and its something to really get lost in. Just you as a little bug knight fighting out bug knights and bug monsters and figuring out this place.
I wish you were on Discord more... and talked more! I been posting all sorts of new stuff and not posting it that I feel not a lot gets by you, and I dont know if you ever read all these channels and see who all is posting. My art has broken through walls, and my ideas have evolved. Further and further, I advance! Hopefully toward something really good. Wish it was for Terra... I can't seem to get those gears going for the life of me. DoM is in worse conditions. All of my stuff so far is HWE, as it seems to be the only thing in my interest anymore. Not so bad, as its definitely helped me chug forward into new things. I'm learning I take more into full on horror stories than anything else, cosmic horror even as I realize just how much Lovecraft's stories sing to me.
But my art, as of the lat few days in particular, has dove into serious quality. I tried straight up Animu Style and it flowed like nobodies business. Some of my best human attempts by far none. Trying to apply it to other humans and human bodied characters. Finding other flaws that I'll bring up another time...
On other fronts, I finish one anime and jump to another. Slowly but surely. I got to Darling and the Franxx... ya know I keep comparing it to Eva. I cant help but draw so many comparisons to Eva, despite everyone everyone telling me its not that much like Eva. I really liked it, myself, even alright with its ending which I was hyped to believe it would be really bad. Its... well, not for me. It just takes the plot and throws it out the window for the romance, and I am a fucking greedy person for romance, so I just shrugged and accepted it. I also really fucking love that art style to death. It didn't surprise me when I learned Trigger was the artists for it. I guessed that the very first episode. I really need to take pointers from Trigger in design angles. They do some insane shit.
I turned to find maybe older anime from long ago to jump into next. I wanted to get into Urusei Yatsura, but geeze I can barely finding it on any anime website. Sucks... found the second movie on Amazon prime and clips on Youtube, though. Looks like a lot of romantic hijinks though.
So I turn my eyes to Toonami! Tench Universe!
...wow I prefer Monster Musume. Am I spoiled by better flow? Better animation? I can't tell. Most of Tenchi Muyo's plot seems to revolve around a ton of randomness, and the story goes all over. One moment Ryoko and Ayaka are about to kill each other, the next scene they're just watching TV together. Tenchi puts up with it all and despite protests he is stuck with them. There isnt much arc between them, I feel. Tenchi doesnt set ground rules, and everyone does what they want without consequence. I remember this series having a plot of some sort, but I cant see it yet other than once in a while someone comes to try and arrest Ryoko.
Maybe this series was more comedy than I recall... Like, almost pure comedy.
Maybe another old anime will suit me if I can find something that interest me. I missed out on a lot of early anime, and I find my interests in them have lead me to like newer anime thats considered bad and shitty. Thats fine, I guess, but it makes it hard to converse with anybody about an anime no one has anything good to say about. Frustrating, even. Back when on IMVU? Sure, I could talk to some people, but they wern't good people... Namely SAO, but the moment I made one critique, people were rubbed the wrong way.
I never really notice anymore how I find it hard to talk on a even playing field with the group in some things, but that self concious feeling that "shit, I dont notice these things about this subject that they take note of" or "I know nothing of this topic" has been making itself well known once more.
Elsewise... Work is work. Down season at a theater bites as I got one day a week for about... three weeks... poor pay, but hey, it worked out. Back up this week to more hours. Today was slow as hell though as I was the only one person in my area. Was bored as hell. Meh, oh well.

My work friends keep me occupied on Discord most of the time. I otherwise am chatting world building stuff with K when he manages to get a hold of me. Making time for things is difficult as everything demands a percentage of my time and I just don't have enough hours in the day for everything. I don't even have time for anime, outside of a quick scroll through mangastream and memes.

It's mostly because during the work week, I have to hit the bed by at least 3-4 otherwise I'll not have enough time in the morning and be late for work. The 15 minute grace period I was used to had been changed to 5 minutes THREE YEARS AGO and no one told me. This is all part of the corporate compliance bullshit we know sarcastically as 'One Best Way'. Which is an entire ball of shit with multiple levels of head shaking and pointless manpower abuse and ignorance.
Then when I have my weekend finally, if I don't have anything important to do, I tend to just sleep until well past noon and binge media. So even when I do have time, I waste time. Though I have found pockets of time in which to work on various things, its all been sporadic and hit or miss.

Yeah, I heard.. not so great things about Walmart in the last few days. About things like that, actually. I forget from who, though Vagrant works in the warehouse part of Walmart down south of here somewhere.
I really hope you find time. For me, not having time to oneself and their passions is truly a worse case scenario in my mind. Like my parents.. working all day, all night, then come home to kids and bills. I can scarcely imagine Working, Eating, Sleeping and doing little else. In fact if it ever becomes so for me, I don't know what I'll end up doing.

Hell, I fucking recall wanting to draw all of us Dragonsonas based on how I view everyone... or how we view each other. Where the fuck did that idea go off too in my head?! That was an awesome idea, and everyone was onboard for it.

Did I mention last time I got a job at a theater nearby? Its a busy thing. Today, Aquaman released in fuel, alongside Bumblebee. Aquaman sold the fuck out in three showings. Hope people get what they're looking for, legit. I wanna see it just for Kaiju and Mosasaur moments.
ANYWHO...
MH is crawling on PS4 and everyone's begging for new stuff. Thank god we got note of that new Iceborne expansion. Shame we gotta wait a near fucking near for it... 9 months, anyway. Ugghh.... My only hope is that up till that point we get leaked bits of new stuff. But I worry that we will not get new stuff until then, such as the apparently promised Oroshi Kirin and Alatreon. I heard we're not getting new stuff until that DLC, which saddens me, but I ain't gonna stress far too much... I think.... maybe... Gah...
I began reading the Kronos Rising series after all of this time, and I really liked the first book. Its like a very well done SciFy original movie and our Mon-Star(Haha) is a kaiju in its own right with really fast regenerating stuff. Won't grow back limbs but anything not mortal heals over rather quick. They drag themselves onshore to lay eggs and they're hyper as fuck smart.
By book 2, one mother Kronosaur has resulted in the return of the entire species... She laid about 80 eggs, most of which survived, including one big black female mutant that the second book is named Tiamat... and there is a big male thats been running around the oceans of the world for the last three or so centuries that is wanted by the people catching and selling 80foot fucking Pliosaurs for bioweapons. Book 2 really goes fucking crazy... I mean really crazy. We got a mated pair of Krakens that come to the surface to find more food since the planet's deep-diving whale populations *fucking dropped like a rock* with Kronosaurs hunting nearly everything to extinction or endangered. Great Whites virtually don't exist anymore, but on *That* note it turns out that about 2 species of Megalodon exist! A deep water Greenland Shark looking species that we never see and a more recognizable version we *do* see in one female(And told she birthed 4 pups) recently that is well over 90 feet long due to stealing whales from Whaling vessels in Antarctica where most of these giant-ass sharks live.
Then we get a badass fight.
Also Xiphactinus returned to the world! Along with Sabre Tooth Salmon. Like I said, this book goes fucking nuts... The return of these damn Pliosaurs have changed the ocean's entirely.
I plan to read the second Volumn after Christmas. Another spin off is about a Pathogen that is inside our Pliosaurs and it can effectively turn humans into zombie-like people before sorta.. melting... kinda. I gotta read that book for more context...
But on the topic of ocean monsters! Would it be okay if I took another swing at KCELL Titans? I thought of a few fun ideas and a redo of the Dryton Jr I made with a clever idea. I really like it.
I plan to get a big computer upgrade come tax return season. I wanna game better, and even Minecraft somewhat chugs at times during loading new areas. Its gonna cost a bit, but with the new job I am confident I can pull it off.
I wanted to get more aquariums and upgrade what I currently got on that front, but... oy... Living with parents has limits on wanting to expand on that stuff. Well what ya gonna do, right? Oh well.

I'm doing okay, considering its the holiday season and they want to work us to the bone for peanuts. I actually got sent home very early today because I had too much overtime. My leg muscles hate me but I'll live.
I haven't dug too far into what the KCELL Titans were myself. My only base line for them is that generally speaking, they have a lot in common with Ultraman Kaiju. Being big fuck-off chimeric monsters that usually have a singular unique quirk or ability, mountain thick constitutions and are ill tempered as all hell. They are also rather gluttonous bastards which is why Gaia had them systematically euthanized into extinction as they were devouring more resources than she could replenish. Shimaku was created to kill them due to Dryton being stuck recovering from his battle with The Meteor Entity. Another note is that the Titans were not tied to Gaia and came into existence mostly by accident and the fall out from The Meteor Entity's attack on the planet. They sustain themselves off of Vitafrux (what makes Kaiju a Kaiju in KCELL) but are horribly inefficient about it. Similar to how Legendary did their Titans but the not nearly as self sustaining. Like a mix of the Legendary's take on Titans and the Kaiju of Pacific Rim in that they absorb and devour energy but don't really give it back and leave a nasty by-product everywhere that changes the environment into alien bullshit.Β

Monsterpocalypse is a good baseline, along with the Ultraman roster, as to how I generally visualize them.
A young Dryton would be...interesting. It would be fun to do see what you do with the concept.
MHW still holds lots of fun and secrets for me. I bum rushed the event tickets because I know better than to wait until I have a cache of them; but otherwise I play when I can. I have progressed to the rotten vale and am working on a Girros set with maybe a Rabo set on the side. Odogaron is a fun challenge that I run into sparingly. Lance makes him manageable despite his speed. I still play Generations and am finding out why Mizu claws are such a bitch to obtain. He dies before I can break even one of them. I have never seen such a utterly stupid monster part on a monster that is not an elder dragon. This is like the fucking Elder Dragon tails all over again. Absolute bullshit. That said, smashing Mizu with a big electric hammer is much easier than trying to shoot him as he gets some distance with that spin-cycle and flip combo he does. Thankfully he's been dropping them in the rewards so I can probably ignore breaking them. Just annoys me I can't add the sub quest money to my checkout because they designed the fucking things to be nearly unbreakable. Gammoth? Selective number of stuff you can shatter per quest but can break anything on her. Astalos? Literally falls to pieces. Glavenous? Requires some thought and timing as to when the cut the tail but otherwise doable outside of his shinys. Mizu though? You can shred and cut almost anything on him but the claws will almost never shatter and that's like a 1 in 100 chance of you doing it before he DIES. I thought that using Lightning damage would help bypass the absurd defense on the things. But no, it just kills him faster.
I have been 'slowly' making progress on HWE stuff. It just takes awhile for me to find time. Finally settled on a design direction for Marez and had some pretty great realizations as to where Beelz is going. The character info sheet you've all been making is also taking awhile for me. I have a lot more 'planned stuff' than actually 'implemented stuff'.

When I say young Dryton, I mean that Dryton 2.0 I drew in one of the earlier two pages I did. The new idea stems directly from Dryton's gas which draws out all moisture. I figured combined that with an alien organism(if the Entity even counts as an organism. For all I know its pretty much a god that Dryton managed to throw out the front door) would be like.
This Monsterpocalypse stuff though is neat, I really like these designs. I need to draw more like this...
I love Mitzu in Generations. I only regret not holding any interest with the expansion, Gen Ult... where we get a neater version. All the fated four are interesting in this game when they go Deviant. Apparently they're normally mutants or older, like the Silveridge Gammoth is just a old, giant female Gammoth. Boltweaver Astalos is just a Astalos that basically has a mutation which makes it overload on energy, making it batshit insane.
And I really wish I could conquer Massacre Demon Diablos... but as I said tons before, since we got World, returning to older games is just not fun. At all.
We ever gonna do HWE stuff again? I miss our Dead Duo. Can't see that ever returning though since I can't decide what to do with Grimm and Phenoraixa anymore.
But I sure got a ton of other fun as hell ideas over the last year. Recently in the last few days, a joke in the Discord channel(ACCEPT MY FRIEND REQUEST, DAMN IT! NYEEH!) resulted in a skinny female Gilman with a toothy grin, is part of her own mafia, peddles fish illegally and little else, and wears a suit and wields a Tommy Gun. This idea is going places...
That doesn't just cover Dragon Arc, Cataclysmic Clash and I done a few horror stories which I think you favorited already. I do them rather well from what I am told.

My only real news to speak of is that I got Bloodstain Curse of the Moon on this Steam Sale. It seemed like a nice, small thing to get for novelty sake and to support the makers of what I hear is becoming a great game.
And it sure is! I love the music, and it plays very well in casual mode. There is a Veterans mode, though, which gives you knock-back like in its predecessor series. Spiritual successor and for the best reasons. I plan to play it again for sure. How could I not?

But aside that... I finally began watching Gargoyles. What a shockingly deep and dark show. I am in about the first half of season 2, which is intensely long. All of the stuff going on is so damn good. I wonder if I grew up with this, how much would it have molded my creative side? Maybe a lot.
Raven made it clear I probably would have gotten a crush on Demona.... he isnt wrong. Though at this point she's kinda ugly to me in her personality.
My job at the park ended weeks ago. I plan to go back next year... And now I am back at Marcos.

Also watched and went through My Hero Academia in english dub. What a ride... I love it though. I love these characters. I could go on and on about all of them, and thats just too much to type out.
Monster Hunter World has sorta run its course. The lot of us have been at it for about six months now, and we done all we wanted to do and can do... other than grind the hell out of tempered monsters for better gems. And get equipment we do not have.
Would ya believe I find this game easier to do than others? Previous games just have so much content that I cant decide which way to point my weapon tree, or what monster to hunt next. I may never get anywhere near getting Double Cross done because of it.
But with World, there is just enough things to make to keep me going and I feel there is a goal in that far horizon I can actually take.
Well... for now we await the eventual arrival of new content. We all look forward to the Blazing Black Dragon, Alatreon, and Oroshi Kiri. I suspect more will come, though.
I'm so happy members of our circle have gotten a chance at a really great game. Seeing K so enthralled with it now makes me so damn happy. Newt loves it, Raven loves it, Jared... well, he loves it, but real life calls.

Dawnaria has most of her actual stats and two of her abilities listed so far. I'm not sure how many I'll give her ultimately but eventually she'll be balanced out with weaknesses and given her modern motive like the rest of the KCELL kaiju. Then I can get around to actually coloring her stat image.
I wouldn't be a Sasquatch, as I'm not that tall or really that strong. I also have much better hygiene. What I really am is a ghost, because even if you don't hear from me or see me post...I'm always listening. And Washington has plenty of ghosts.

geez I'm at a loss for words, actually... I'm use to sending you long-ass replies to talk about various things, but I'm actually struggling.

World has been slow because I find and make time to play it sporadically. Thankfully it doesn't take that many materials to make stuff like in other games. Anjanath is the first monster in the game that requires you to have a plate to make his armor and I had 2 by the time I made it. So I've 'Megaman'ed' up to that point in the story. It's tempting to go after Rathian now but I lack the quest or investigations to do so, I'd have to do a free hunt into the wildspire to get her to pop up and hope she doesn't wreck my face. Getting good armor spheres in this game is pretty dicey so getting my armor up to snuff is slightly more difficult because I haven't just burned my way through the main story yet. I did however do the basic Streetfighter challenge quest so I got some Ryu armor. As fighting a giant Barroth angered me so much that I murdered him using every setup and aimed to make the Ryu armor out of pure spite.
Gen is going pretty well. I have the twin urgents for HR6 available, I just haven't done them yet. I just finished making a Lavasioth set which I'm currently using to fight Blangonga so I can make THAT set. Lavasioth wasn't that bad compared to the giant hit box on stilts that is Plesioth. I haven't even made a Plesioth set, just his lance. I could make it, but I already have a good capture set. That and fighting the fucker without Aerial, a ranged weapon or a lance is cancer. Blangonga is pretty fun, he just does his giant arm lunge twice in a row now. Which is ass. But getting to upgrade his hammer again will be great. I get to play Gen a lot more often due to being able to play it on my lunch.
I saw the trailer, loved it. Really looking forward to seeing it. They are bringing old the original toho single kaiju out for another romp. I'm just hoping Mothra and Rodan don't die so Godzilla can win. I do get the impression he gets his ass kicked and has to be supercharged by a submarine before he can go back for round 2 if the trailer is anything to go by.

The slow grind of Ren's Monster Hunter continues...
And Behemoth just now dropped for World, and geezus... he is easily Black Dragon Tier monster. He hits hard, he hits often, you cant get away even when you leave his area as he will summon spells to hit you from across the map, and you get 9 continues... 9. Let that sink in. He's a beast, but boy his music is epic.
But this is just Behemoth... imagine Alatreon or Oroshi when we get those. Christ.
There is talk of other monsters in King of the Monsters. Either multiples of existing ones, which makes sense, or some other monster we dont know about, old or new, or perhaps Kong appears even. Speculation... I kinda hope we get 2 Rodans. I really want that, but if there was, I imagine the leaks would mention a second. But my bet is Mothra Larva, since 2 of them makes sense.
Makes me wonder how Kaiju work in Legnedaryverse. Given Godzilla sorta owns all the Pacific Ocean, and Rodan probably can scream across continents in a day, and so forth. Like, how do they reproduce and stuff? I ask these setting questions often.

I want that Behemoth Poogie, best skin by far. What's funny about Behemoth is that his fight makes players adopt a more RPG centric format. He focuses on whoever hits him and his horns more. So you really need that triple combo of tank, healer, DPS to fight him. His meteor attacks are survivalable via 'don't stand in the fire' where standing in the shadow of the smaller meteors protects you from the big one. Otherwise, as long as you aren't his focus, you can take him down.

Apparently that's what the new dragoon jump emote is for. You can actually evade the super meteor with it. Also flashing him both resets his priorty target and cancels the tornado spell he uses.

I think MHW is the sort of game in the series that would really benefit from a 'roaming boss battle' sorta deal. Most monsters are confined to their biome even if they move from zone to zone. Jho and Bazel invade every biome but don't leave them once embedded (in real time). On expeditions monsters can cycle and leave the biome if you take too long and that's pretty standard. So I'm wondering why we can't have an event like boss monster, along the lines of Behemoth here, moving from area to area per quest? In a fashion similar to how the legendary dog trio from Gold and Silver always moved around once released. It would combine the 'repel' aspects of Elder Dragon hunting with the tracking we've come to have in MHW. Where as you're tracking level would help you find out where the creature is next. It could even have a bipolar sort of Ai behavior where if the hunters are doing well, it will try to escape the area and then you have to fight it again (damage carries over, as do its resistances to your tactics and tools used before). If the hunters are doing poorly however, it will start hunting YOU (pretending to leave only to suddenly ambush you, scattering the party etc). If you break some of its parts or sever its tail for instance it remembers YOU specifically and will suddenly barge into your other hunts to whoop your ass as payback. If you stopped it from eating before, it will do things like blocking the way back to camp (if the player has low health and stamina) or stealing a monster's body while you're trying to carve it. It would be a sort of monster that is often talked about in the lore and meta but not actually explored much in game except maybe in 4 with the Gore Magla: a 'Moby Dick' style monster that forms a personal rivalry with you in a fashion similar to Orcs in Shadow of Mordor.
It could be called a 'Vendetta Quest' and getting it to pop up again comes from gathering more clues between hunts as it leaves evidence of itself for you to find (Like Kulve Taroth). It could have a 'warning' similar to Jho that tells you when its in the area but more subtle like a strange chime or chilling roar that makes your character flinch. It could also do things like killing the monster before you do and stealing all your carves if you don't break up the fight fast enough (The first instance of this would always be unpreventable and this scenario would only happen if you haven't fought that particular Vendetta Monster yet). Wouldn't count as a quest fail as the monster is still hunted, but the thing still gipped you of your carves.

So how has the job front been? Ya been dragged into the hell that is real life and restrained there for a long time, my friend, and it shows.
I myself got my job back at the park, and it is greatly preferred over my fast food grind which had me standing on my feet for many hours at a time, dealing with unruly dumbasses, unpleasent co-workers, new kids that get hired and are shitty in some manner.... its good to be free. I could go on about some, like one manager who came through who ran his mouth a lot about how much he was getting laid and how much trouble he is in with his GF... dumbass... BUT I rather not drag the convo' down to shit talking previous coworkers.
And this year's park work has had its ups and downs as well, though the ups are nice. Just today alone I found a sleeping racoon in a garbage can. Poor thing got stuck there, but scared me to death since Racoons can be unpleasant.
also found Tiger Beetles, frogs, and watched the carp in the lake go through their spawning motions, which is always nice. Its fun working there, I can't get enough of it.
Downsides.... someone took a complete shit over a toilet the other day. Like chocolate milk mixed with chocolite chips, and I had to scrub that... blah.
And the sleep schedule. I wake up at 6AM every morning, if not before, and get my ass to work by 7AM, and then I work until noon... at the moment. Before it was 1PM. I'm comfortable where I'm at, but going to bed early means missing out on our group's late-evening antics which are always fun.
Else-wise, Monster Hunter World... not much has changed. I admit I am already kinda done with it. I got a lot of shit, I hunted with our group to the point we have injokes... Gemless Shit Bitch being one, if K hasn't already presented that joke to you. Waiting for new material otherwise though.
But hey, in the fall we get Double Cross! I.. am... mixed on that. Getting use to older controls and what not when we got World? It's going to give my muscle memory a lot to work with. My only joy is the expanded monsters such as the new Deviants, which surprised there are not more of, and new styles, new weapons, and the over the top fucking gewdness this game will bring.
I'll most likely get it for Switch... Why not, right?
and thats after hopefully I can get my fix with Mario Odyssey and Splatoon 2 to the point I dont feel guilty later about not playing them.
Now get this.... I like Bloodborne. Quite a lot. PRior I tried this game and it as you expected, it enraged me to no end with its difficult. HOWEVER, I progressed comfortable after the very rough start of the game to the point I entered some very difficult area... some asshat threw me in a sac and draged me there... and today actually, I cleared the entire area with relative ease, and then killed the boss with relative ease as well on my second shot at him.
I got a grove going on. Patterns are falling into line, I can grind the Echoes up to get more bang for buck. I am enjoying this, and I feel that is odd as all hell.
But hey, its one more game to play....
and on games to play, I really need to play Okami. Johnny did his review in his Donaters Marathon and it the game finally caught my interest. I just ain't sure when I'll get it. I know some of the stuff to understand it at this point thanks to the usual things our circle talks about, or writes about in some cases.
Maybe when I clear some more games off my list, because holy shit I got a lot now...
Like, I have Ocarina of Time now thanks to Christmas, and I barely touched it. Isn't that odd? I can't get a good feel with the game! It boggles my mind since I really liked Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Skyward Sword, and Breath of the Wild to death.
As a matter of fact, if you like OoT, then you will love TP, and I love TP, so by logic I should like OoT... right? No, I dont. I dont know how to explain it, but one word I feel applies is archaic. It feels older, to the point the characters feel like cardboard boxes that just give you useless info or very straight forward pointers. Or sometimes both and its a vague pointer... But then I got later games where a number of characters are very fluffy and I feel invested in them.
Not so in Ocarina... maybe my Zelda bone is broken.
and leaving off on KCELL... just damn, man. I enjoyed that read. Four years, my friend! FOUR YEARS! Good god. Why?! WHY?!
