He has one of my favorite styles (you don't see a lot of that in comic books), and yes, *smirks* back in '92 he began dentistry. I had to look at bio again. Jae Lee found him and asked for pin-ups to show to Avalon studios... from there all was history. :nods:

Well, I'm not the conventional type of guy and I'm rather conservatice in the things I like. I'm not really into "modern" art, or anything that is reather appreciated these days.
My favorite style dates back from the beginning of the 1900's: Art Nouveau (also known as Jugendstill). I'd love to make sotheming in that style, but I lack time at the moment. I aslo lack inspiration for a good project. My "hero" in this style is Alphonse Mucha...

Next to that I'm rather interested in more mediaval art. That's perhaps why I'm busy with calligraphy and making illuminated initials. Just like in the "good old times" I melt away for the use of gold LOL. Most of these iluminated initials were made by monks, so most of them were in much cases religious. Which brings me to another type of art: I'm also fond of religious art, also preferably from the middle ages...

As for the more modern art, I adore the work of Panamarenko (A famous Belgian artist with international fame. Most of his drawings are designs for all kinds of vehicles (from small planes to UFO's,...) as well as mechanical chickens and other animals. Most of his designs are also made reality but... there isn't one of his inventions that work - intentionally!
He's some kind of medern Leonardo Da Vinci to me...
