depends on the type of comic i guess :-m
I keep a document open on my computer that i right in when i'm feeling particularly overwhelmed by my anxiety or depression and i'll usually take exerts from that and apply sequence to it. i'll also tweak the writing a bit so that it's more story shaped.

But if it's something more like "Know", where there is much more traditional story telling, I'm not entirely sure. I like exploring people who are suffering or have unattended mental disorders. I do a lot of reading on that in my "spare" time.
