Hi! My name is Doug, and I am a casual/hobbyist photographer. I enjoy nature and animals, hiking, wilderness exploration, etc. I also enjoy motorsport, working in Photoshop, and hands-on hobbies like RC cars.Have a look around my gallery! Like I've told you I started as a Traxxas lover, but they really let me down.. Then I got my first Tamiya (M02-L VW Beetle) and loved it. Tamiya FTW!!

I like the vintage stuff, and Tamiya's pretty perfect for that

I bought two Traxxas Stampede XL-5 and one is completely destroyed and the other kept draining my money so I gave up on it. I always look for new releases from Traxxas, but it's always too expensive (X-01)or they rerelease the same thing over again (Traxxas 1/16 and Slash).. It's kinda getting old... Tamiya offers more of a variety I think.

Tamiya has variety, but it's a shame they haven't really done anything new lately. It's just been rereleases for the past decade or so, with new cars being based off of existing things. I think the hobby as a whole has evolved so much that there isn't really much new stuff left to do. That's why scalers have gotten so popular, people just make everything themselves instead of waiting for a manufacturer
