Holy shit, another orbit completed!
But don't despair: In galactic terms you're just about 0.0000001. Doesn't that make you feel young?

Oh yes. Geologically speaking. But then there were also entire epochs in the universe that were fractions of a second too.

Oh sorry for that. And cool stuff ! What kind of wood you can work with in Canada?

ComradeK In reply to woodfoxart [2014-09-14 17:55:40 +0000 UTC]
Well, what I find or can cut myself around here is mostly jackpine, poplar (I'm not really sure what species, we just call it poplar generally), white spruce, some certain cedar, birch, balsam (not very strong wood)...some other species of pine. But jackpine is by far the most common locally. As you travel out from where I am there are many other species, mainly on the west coast and to the south, but I'd say variants of Pine and Spruce are the biggest forests overall.

Nice diversity of pine indeed. Thanks for the preview
In Switzerland, we also have a large batch of softwood:
pine, spruce too (most common), Scots pine, larch (for exterior), arole, (...)
But also hardwood:
beech (also the most common), ash , maple, oak and chestnut, and many other as walnut.

I've been meaning to do some more woodoworking in the future, so your stuff of course interests me.
Just need to get my sawmill running again heheh

Not really. I barely get much done for myself heh, and then have a few trades on the go as well. But if you suggest something interesting I may consider it.

I just have a small collection of ponies with piercings that I'm looking to add to
I'm sure it's not your typical style, but we try everything once, right?
If it's ok, even if it's super sketchy, I'd like batponies.wikia.com/wiki/Rosew⦠with piercings
