Thanks! Even in my writing, I figure that pesky art school education has to count for something. And that since I can't make that gray box look pretty, the tag had better make up for it in spades.

Your lit-tag might be more interesting if you upped the contrast on the pattern and made the background match the text box gray. It would float.

actually, i did use to have a brighter version of the same tag, but i agree it might seem a little too grey and contrasting the box...might play around with it again

I did it, and it said thanks for the submission. The piece is called "Sigyn" and has a blue and white geometric pattern, if that helps.

As for Edward, I suppose it could just be that I'm a wee bit too old and I like Dracula a bit too much.

School's started again (and has swallowed me whole...). That said, I'll give the request bit a last hurrah with you. I have class for the next 14 hours or so, but send me a note with what you were looking for and I'll get back to you soon. Too much detail makes it harder, by the way, so think about about the most necessary details.

The Tom Seaton requester gave me more of his back story, personality, and small quirks (like his facial tics). The costume was mentioned, but in brief.

Some thoughtful critique of the writing I have on this account will work as payment unless you're feeling particularly 'creative.' Creative is good.

Name: Paul Anderson

Gender: Male

Age: 24

Hair type and color: It's brown, neat, short, and a bit curly. There's a slight part on the right side.

Eyes: Blue

Clothes: He's wearing just a normal white t-shirt (not too tight). He's also wearing dark blue, blue jeans, that are also not to tight. The t-shirt falls over the waist line of his pants so you don't see his belt loop or anything (basically, his shirt's not tucked in). I would like him to have a camera around his neck. Like a camera strap to where the camera hangs in front of him, just above where is bellybutton should be.

I want it like that, but the strap to be a bit thicker, and the camera to be a bit bigger as well. And all black.

The shoes are white sneakers, maybe add a little design if you'd like.

Height/weight: I'd say he's average in height. His weight is average as well.

Personality: Paul is the main character of my future novel. It's hard describing him, because he's a complex character. But if I had to sum him up in one word I'd use "immature".

Action/position: He's just standing. He also has a smug "I'm an asshole" smile on his face. His hands are in both of his pockets, but you can also put both his hands behind his head if you want another option.

If the link doesn't work just look up Dexter Morgan from the series "Dexter". I would like Paul to be modeled after him, a younger version of course.

I would like there to be realism and color to this picture. I'll review as much as you'd think is fair (an yes, each review will be detailed). As long as the photo is as good as your Tom Seaton. If this partnership works out, I see no means to end it, as there are three more characters I would like to be drawn.

DA's breath of fresh air for me. I'm an art major, you see, which gnaws at your creative spirit after a while...kinda like the rodent on your icon, actually. You can't even really rebel because the establishment is pro-anti-establishment.

there's always some way to rebel, the hard part is just figuring out how to do so in a different way.

DA is a breath of fresh air for me too. since my school doesn't offer a major in art I come here to view, vent the creative juices, and inspire new ideas.
