# About me
Been drawing since Preschool, if not before. Started growing into my own style around my late teens. I'm in my twenties now and am working on my original comic, 36. Music, I like whatever sounds good to me, giving me a very eclectic mind. I like to stay in shape, and since my love for anime and action alike plays such a role in my life. I practice swordsmanship and acrobatics to stay fit and to simply go banana-sandwich crazy. With that being said, 36 started from just that. My co-creator friend and I would larp (as it's called now; we just called it playing back then), and eventually we started writing and building on our same larp characters. That started around ages 13-15, I think, which is also when I first started writing. Beforehand, I just drew pictures. Anyway, drawing and writing are my passions, music motivates and inspires me, and I love to eat, fight and live in my imagination.

I noticed you watched me.
I'm going to give you some feedback. From experience. From 11 years of practice and study and effort and almost-made-it-but-backed-out-because-of-publicity-issues. I am a maker not a viewer. This is going to sound harsh because it's not a fluff, but I don't mean badly.
There is NO WAY to become a manga artist in America and make it big. You might be better off doing a manga-webcomic. It's called OEL manga. Either that or do it as a hobby. But you have to be REALLY COMFORTABLE with being in the public eye for the rest of your life if you have success at all.
Your technique needs a lot of work and practice. It needs to be somewhat professional if you want to publish.
Your story? Everybody does stuff like this, it's cliche and it might appeal to a certain audience but you need to define your target audience & draw for them. Define your genres. For example I work in paranormal fantasy and mythology-based. My target audience is 20's-30's. A comic is for the fans mostly. It's meant to be consumed.
Do NOT go on the very first story you ever make or even any story that seems to be a proxy for you, as the writer. A first story is often a proxy for the writer. If this is your first story, don't get attached, work on it and criticize it yourself, see its flaws and work on getting BETTER. Above all you are starting out and you need to practice, practice. Do not get attached to any story. It's better that way.
On the other hand you seem to have some talent and I want you to keep at it. The important thing is that you CAN do it I think, so keep on doing it, get some books: I recommend getting some of Peter David's books on graphic novels and comics and also some books on novel writing for storyline technique. Get a dictionary and a thesaurus and stock character encyclopedia books. Get books catered to genres you like. Read a lot in your chosen genres. It will come in handy. Take the stock and originalize it.
Disclaimer: I don't know anything about you, but this is meant well even though it seems harsh...
TVTropes is a good resource. Don't be afraid of using tropes. They work. You can also cleverly subvert them and surprise your readers.
