# About me

I am an italian artist, qualified at the SRF - Scuola Romana dei Fumetti - Roman School for Comics - in Rome and I am actually living in Berlin where I study Medicine.

I have always been particularly interested in Mythological, Historical and Fantasy Literature and Art, and I try to put something of those themes into my works.

I am available for every kind of commssions; nevertheless I am obviously better in producing pictures which are related to my interests.
For commissions you can just send me an email at samael89@hotmail.it , in which you can describe the kind of drawing you imagine; I will draw a sketch and send it to you for approval. If you are satisfied, I will finish the drawing and send you the original work after receiving the payment. It takes for a commission mostly about 4 weeks, plus delivery time.

Price depends on size and difficulty: of course are very simple or smaller drawings cheaper; bigger, very difficult or coloured works are more expensive. Only payment per PayPal, thatΒ΄s easier.

It's SOOOO nice to see the art of someone who knows the classics!Β  And, can articulate them. Of course, between Roma and Berlin, you ought to! Good thing you will know a lot of Latin when studying medicine. Knowing a bit of Latin and Greek, and classics, has helped me in Geology. Strange, but true.

Thank you again! I always loved the classics, and I studied greek and latin literature and culture in the highschool; all this helped me always a lot in my further studies. It is like a perfect base for every sort of knowledge... it strenghts the brain. And, by the way, classical mythology and epics are just wonderful!

I would love to know more about your idea, concept for your masterfull 'Thought" work. It is a magnum opus.

SirSamael In reply to kitgryph [2014-03-12 12:20:28 +0000 UTC]

Thank you very much for the compliments; I was always very interested in mythology, and I wanted to make a work with almost all myth creatures I know. The title comes from a sonnet from William Blake; it means that only one thought (the artists thought) can fill the immensity with his creative strength. The infinity is represented by the big golden ouroboros, and the man in the middle of the picture represents the thinking mind, thus the origin of all things...Β
