# About me
I've always loved the fantastical, the whimsical, and the darkly beautiful. I grew up on a steady diet of Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Last Unicorn, and ElfQuest. I knew who Gandalf and Smaug were by the time I was 7 years old. My interest in fantasy only increased over the years. I am heavily influenced by fairy tales and folk legends. Plus I think Godzilla is pretty awesome.
I believe the world can be dark enough at times, so my work tends to be the opposite: fantastical and whimsical, draped in bright, saturated hues. You won't see a lot of subdued color schemes here, nor a lot of black and white. I also enjoy spiritual pieces, along with a dash of romantic horror. Almost all of my work is family friendly.
