im just kind of disappointed becasue the whole point of this thing is chooling the best and if yours was, and was even in the top ten without them fully noticing there was a sig, they should have at least told you and let you have ten minutes to edit it. its lousy..

That would have been nice. But then again, it is my fault for not fully reading the details in the contract part of the rules. And imagine if they gave all the rule breakers a couple minutes to fix their entries. It's not totally fair. I'm not upset at DA with this. Not at all. Maybe I wish they replaced me with something cooler, but I only blame myself for that mistake. I only read the "rules", but not the full on submission agreement. So that's my bad. Now I know! DA art contests definitely aren't my fave. I personally get a lot more out of other sites. There's another site where I do contests and I don't even care about the outcome, because the winners are always top notch, and the contests are designed to help me learn. So every time I enter I learn more than a full semester of school has taught me. That's important to me. DA is just for exposure really, and it's oversaturated with so many different styles, you can't really get the exposure you need. So I mostly enter for fun and hope to get a chance to make it. Where as on other sites, I enter for the value I get out of it. As well as a little bit more exposure.
