I am an odd hodge-podge of things. I am an American from the state of Maine (where Moose and other wonderful creatures are) but I am currently studying in the United Kingdom for my MRes in Social Anthropology. I research medical anthropology and sociology of health and illness in chronically ill and disabled groups from a variety of different areas around the world! While I am not involved in the academic rat-race I enjoy gaming (Guild Wars, Assassin's Creed, Uncharted) and writing (non-fiction and fiction) and travelling!
