For the Silent Planet stuff? I just pick 'chunks' of the storyline that I think would be interesting and work on those one at a time.

Not really, unless it's just something short and to the point, like some of my recent posts. I want to come up with some longer stuff though, just so I have something to work with. I'm pretty clueless what it will be though.
