Favorite visual artist: Robert Wyland and Christian Riese Lassen's art blew my mind when I was a youngster. (I grew up near one of Wyland's famous murals with life-sized whales on it.) These two artists were definitely early inspiration.Favorite movies: The Brave Little Toaster.
Favorite games: Ecco the Dolphin, and Ecco: The Tides of Time were both huge parts of my childhood. They sparked a love for dolphins and a sense of wonder about the ocean in my seven-year-old mind, and are probably partially to blame for why I ended up so weird.

Q: WHY ALL THESE DOLPHINS!?
A: I have loved cetaceans since I was a tiny kid - they are my original muse. I will never forget going fishing with my grandfather, and being overwhelmed with awe while watching pacific bottlenose dolphins ride the bow wave of the boat.
Q: WHAT WIZARD TAUGHT YOU HOW TO DO THIS!?
A: I've been obsessively drawing since I was a toddler, and my style and techniques have evolved organically over the course of my life. I've never taken any classes or had any instruction (aside from... like... finger painting in grade school) and I never will, because I feel that outside influence will alter and homogenize my natural style.
Q: MAN, WHAT IS UP WITH YOUR STYLE?!
A: I am a detail oriented illustrator, one who paints tiny wrinkles, scratches, and whiskers with itty bitty brushes, and most of all I am a creator. I freehand all my animals and I don't strive for realism or photo-perfect anatomy - I feel that too much referencing takes away from the artistic feel of my paintings. My art comes out looking the way I visualize things in my mind. Well, the art that I actually show people does. I am a harsh critic of my own work, and have a massive reject pile.

OOO a dolphin artist ^_^. I can only draw orcas but i have tried drawing dolphins. I mastered sharks but not dolphins don't know why its so hard to draw them for me. Specially hard when you have a Dolphin Oc but cant draw it haha.

Haha oh noes! When it comes to learning how to draw a living thing best way I've found is to watch that thing in action. Try watching some dolphin nature specials to get a feel for their personalities and way they move.

Dude your art is awesome. I am simply in awe. How long have you been drawing. So that I can see if I can improve. I love graphite and cant sleep without a pencil in my hand. If you see my art leave a comment but bare in mind that I am not your average guy. If you click on the weird pics I drew you will see that I think of myself as a weird person. Nothing on my page is inappropriate but I draw things that a normal guy doesn’t. Once again your art captures my wild imagination and I cant help but see a great story behind each pic you have.
