See you in a few weeks back for the start of term. BTW, great shots of Shanghai, particularly the B&W shots 10 & 13, there's a real sense of scale to them.

Very good course! Just got back from a part-sponsered 2 1/2 week trip to Shanghai which was one of the best experiences of my life. Definitely a good course.
Good luck with the interview. Try to be relaxed and talk to them as friends rather than feared enemies. Its not a job interview, but it feels like one.

i dont think the interview went well at all. john didnt really like my work and i had to answer two questions with 'i dont know' which was pretty bad but there was no way i could lie. my tutor reckons ive got in from what i told her cos at the end of the interview john said 'im glad ive seen this' about a sketch book i showed him. i think ill get rejected though tbh. bad times

dont worry too much, i thought id definitely failed, but got an unconditional. You really cant tell with john tbh. I was a bit the same, didnt know any photographers n that.. just see how it goes!

i didnt get in haha. oh well. my 2nd choice is UWE so my application has been sent there now, so hoping ill get in :/
i asked john for feedback and he said that my sketch books showed i wasnt ready for the course or something. which i dont think is true... i do alot of work and im predicted 3 distinctions overall so my work cant be that bad. but no worries. obv just not meant to be! roll on UWE

UWE is west of england in bristol,the course is just photography BA. decided ill just stick to that and not limit myself or anything
