hi spcebeans, you are absolutely entitled to your opinion here and you are right - it's pretty brutal! What I enjoy about art is that it is an outlet to experiment without harming anything or anyone in the process. In real life a woman in a body cast would probably not be sexy, it would be sad. But here's the kicker- casts, braces, slings, they get me going. And the reason behind the cast gets me going (not so much the sadism, more the justification that a cast will soon be needed). So what better forum than an art site, especially one called Deviantart? My two bits anyways.

Haha! Just kind of? Sir or madam, welcome to my every day. Now imagine if you will, that the same judgement you are imposing here has existed internally with me for as long as my brain had a moral centre. We're old friends. The trouble is, it doesn't change anything - such is the unfortunate nature of fetishes. But self hatred doesn't do much for living a long happy life, and neither does tripping women on stairs in hopes that they break an arm so outlets like this can be handy.

Also, no worries on your nephew - I am not in to dudes. Not that there's anything wrong with that either, just not my thing.

No worries at all! It's tough to explain - but i will do my best:

The attraction to casts/braces/slings/tensors etc has always been engrained in me (even some of my earliest sexual memories were like this). To be honest, it was pretty crappy getting used to the idea that what others would call a 'normal sex life' would be something that would be a lot tougher for me. The other side bit of this is that it really is the immobilization of a limb that I find sexy not the sadism of the injury. That being said though, if a cast or a brace can be explained as being used for a reason then this is much better than just a mental image of a woman in one. 

I've figured out how to make this work in a relationship, but circumstances there don't always lead to the best sex life. So, what I have been doing with Deviantart is kind of an outlet to get away from reality for a bit.

Yeah man, thanks for the explanation I totally understand though, it's kinda the same way for me in the "unrealistic" sense, especially sense I like to project my fetishes on men in fantasy, but in real life I'm solely attracted to women lmao
