Hi Bailey ! How are you and yours ? I tried your fudge. Yum ! Sorry I dropped off DA for so long. Been kinda busy. Jewelry is still good buisiness for me. Still carving waxes for several different collections. One of them I think you will like. It's going to be called the middle earth collection. Inspired by the hobbit and lord of the ring series of books by Tolkien. I'll post pictures as I make them. Bye for now. Rita

Hi Rita!Β Great to read from you again, glad you're doing well.Β Heee, that fudge is dangerous. 
Things are going well here.Β My kitties are happy, and I've got my kitchen garden started early this year so it's already sprouting and some of the plants have flowers, promising fruit soon! (Tomato, strawberry, and blueberries at the moment.Β Yummy!)Β The herb part of the garden also seems happy.Β Sages, thyme, oregano, chives, bay, and Helichrysum, are all happy, with seedlings of dill, parsley, (flat & curly,) basil, (sweet & purple,) and coriander starting to show.
Been going to a Stitch-n-Bitch group lately, sometimes twice a month, sometimes only once, depending on the location.Β (One is always local, the other is a roaming location, not always within reasonable distance for me to drive.)Β Having fun chatting with other knitters & crocheters while working on our projects, showing off, sharing tips and tricks, helping out when something isn't turning out right, etc.Β We also talk about other things, and do a pot-luck lunch, where I usually bring the Wicked Fudge.

Merry Christmas to you folks down under !
It's 60 degrees ft. here. So much for the white Christmas thing. I hope all is well with you and yours. I have started my new job working for a jeweler and I love it ! I am never goin back to the bakery !!! Ten years in the cake business is long enough. I'm working with very pleasant people and I am turning out to be a good sales person ( much to my own surprise ) and learning how to use the store computer. I have also showed some of my jewelry designs to the owner and she liked them. If I can design a line of jewelry and make actual samples she will concider carrying my designs in her stores. It will probably take me at least a year to get this all together and ready ( waxes must be carved and molds must be made and pieces must be cast ) I've really got nothing to lose. Even if the worst happens and she says no to selling my jewelry it just means that I'll have to keep some very nice silver jewelry.Β

It was in the low 70Β°s F here for Christmas, and cooler today; which is peculiar as it's supposed to be summer here!
I am delighted to see how well you are doing!Β That's awesome news, regarding the jewelry store and your boss.Β Having seen what you can do with decorating sweets, I suspect that any jewelry you design will be purchased so fast, there will be scorch marks on the display cases.
