How do you change the thumbnail next to your comments? I changed my deviant ID to make it more simple, but it didn't change the thumbnail which is the whole point I did it.

You just need to wait....it's probably your cookies messing it up...It's been a while since you sent this message, is it fixed yet?
I see the thumbs up avatar.

Yep. I thought what was displayed was your deviant ID which is why I was confused it didn't change. Apparently those are two separate things. Not sure what role the deviant ID serves other than to allow another spot to display artwork.

I love the toys you make for your kids! I'd love to be able to do that kind of thing for my kids (when I have them 10 years from now. )

Thank you! Construction is pretty easy, and the biggest boon to those who want to fancify their furniture is a router. I don't know how I got along before without one.

I may not finish in time again. Yayyy! I cleared my day for Saturday and was planning on working in it all Saturday, but had a surprise drill when they asked if I could come in. We are starting off well...

Finally put up something new...check it out. I used it to learn the basics of photoshop, and I'm finishing up the pencil for my anatomy assignment drawing, so I think it'll be pretty cool once it's done and colored.

I'm excited. I have an idea for my drawing of the first assignment. It'll be a bit of a gamble as I'm going to try a few things I've never really done before, but it'll be cool if it works like it does in my head. I wish you had photoshop so we could color them afterward. I'm working on getting it for you.

1) Ben's on here now.
2) Do you have or have you found any good oblique/abdominal muscle sources? I'm trying to get them down perfectly and understand them clearly so later I can mess with them for stylization the way that Sam Keith does so well.

TylerHaas In reply to TylerHaas [2009-11-30 01:44:13 +0000 UTC]
Never mind. I found one.

TylerHaas In reply to TylerHaas [2009-11-29 21:05:12 +0000 UTC]
Oh, I forgot to say that I've found a lot of sources but everyone seems to stylize or lightly indicate them without just going straight to them like McFarlin used to do.

Hey do you have a link to that artist who draws/paints all those medieval knights you have saved on your computer? I've wanted to take a look at those for awhile. Something about the way he makes his armor look so heavy is cool.

Done uploading images. There even a decent amount in my scrapbook section of my gallery. That's about everything in my sketchbooks that I thought was worth adding. That was an all day event...

AWESOME STUFF!!!
I commented on most of it. I wish I could go back in time and draw more...ugh.
Cool...this is going to be fun.
P.S. Don't know if my assignment's going to be on-time (auspicious start, I know)...but definitely by Tuesday (the second of two days off that I'll have).
