Have you had any formal training at all? Or any self taught studies?

I'm no pro, that's for sure, but you should do a little studying in some areas.

well, I'm mostly self taught, with some online tutorial. I did do art course in college, but it was mostly fine art stuff and my teacher hated my "cartoon" stuff.

Yeah, I've had those teachers...In fact, I dropped my Painting class because of what my instructor did to a frend of mine who had her in her high school days.

Some things, like Drawing I and II, really help out with "cartoons". What really helps, and bein a guy you might not believe me :p (Lick) , is to attend nude figure studies where the model changes her pose every minute to 5 minutes (well, there are guy figure studies as well but...I mean, I am a guy so I know how to draw one ).

I had nude model drawing sessions a few times over the darwing semester. man and women. long poses and short poses.
