The stumps are done with DAZ's D-Former tool. Here is a link to a "stump-creation" tutorial: ampgfx.net/stumps/stumps.htm (its for Poser but works quite similiar in DAZ)

I don't think it's THAT similar anymore. Β That tutorial is ancient, the example pictures are tiny and the programs are different. Β I get more utility out of experimenting myself than reading that (a NEW tutorial is sorely needed).
I sort of figured it out, but can't seem to avoid weird holes at the ends or odd shapes, and can't seem to change the length at all.
