To be honest i prefer doing traditional but it's harder for me as i don't know any techniques for painting. I use only pencil and black ink

 i also do traditional art and i also much prefer using pen and ink instead of painting and coloring because i feel really bad in coloring. When you're doing traditional art do you still use guidelines and bases? what do you do when you're not drawing?  (please excuse my many questions hehehe i'm just interested )

I'm sitl using guidelines ad bases, and funny enough I almost always start with random scribbles then I'm working my drawing out of that ( also use references later on ). and when I'm not drawing I'm living , doing homeworks, meeting froends and playing video games. when I'm not doing noyhing I'm... thinking about drawing . (that's adculty serious) I've "created" in myself habit of thinking how would i draw this or I'm imaging shapes I'm seeing in 3d form. it sound more complex that it really is, but it also helps me improve my art .

is it hard for you to think of an idea to draw before putting it on paper? where do you mostly get inspired to draw? what inspires you? i get inspiration from my random thoughts or things i see in my point of view. seems weird to others but it's just fun for me.

Most importantly remember TO NOT force ideas. at longer run it will "burn out" your ideas. don't make masterpieces everyday or even every week, I tried it and it didn't turned out well as I thought it would. I did that for 2 years. 3 months already I'm on break from drawing masterpieces because ideas don't appear as often as they were 2 years ago. 
     But drawing everyday is a good idea but not masterpieces, just studies , drawings from references etc. this is safe. I also recommend changing style (100% change) to "reset" your mind

Now 2nd answer. I as said very rarely have ideas so I've learned myself to start with random scribbles like those: katthorsen.files.wordpress.com… Just with pencil and vert lightly. I find shapes and forms. like that I made: elfios.deviantart.com/art/Swor… or elfios.deviantart.com/art/Thin…

I've told you last time that I have habit of thinking how to draw stuff, that's one source of inspiration, I also Have weird thing that when I close my eyes I can see "fast animations" and rarely thay stay for a while. if i can I quickly draw scribble of it or write it down. but biggest influence are my friends. My friends are only girls, and when I wish to cheer them up i make up stories to make them laugh. like that I've got idea for this: elfios.deviantart.com/art/Maje… last source are just photos. I've got task in school to make snail and meme at once, that later will be animate-able. that I made this:elfios.deviantart.com/art/Best… I've noticed that when I'm making photomanipulations I have so much more ideas. I don't know if that because I'm burned out with painting or if that's just how it is.

lol, you're the first one ever who called me a pro I'm still in high school, last year tho :3 I'd also like to go on course like that but I have no idea which one, I'm wondering between movies, animations, and concept art.

Actually if I wasn't so lazy and if I could manage my time better then probably I would be able to keep up weekly updates and still have good grades at school. But ... I can't. I'm working on it, and for sure it's better than it was :3

Yeah sometimes brainstorming for good ideas to draw could really be hard and sometimes it could also make anyone tired by just thinking of it. But I'm sure you can do it! I support you Sempai!
