'24 frames of grave truth' is organizing screening of documentary films.
βTHE CORPORATIONβ
a film by Mark Achbar, Jennifer Abbott & Joel Bakan.
βTHE CORPORATIONβ explores the nature and spectacular rise of the dominant institution of our time. Footage from pop culture, advertising, TV news, and corporate propaganda, illuminates the corporation's grip on our lives. Taking its legal status as a "person" to its logical conclusion, the film puts the corporation on the psychiatrist's couch to ask "What kind of person is it?" Provoking, witty, sweepingly informative, The Corporation includes forty interviews with corporate insiders and critics including Milton Friedman, Noam Chomsky, Naomi Klein, and Michael Moore - plus true confessions, case studies and strategies for change.

heya this is a common message that im passing on... no time to write a new one this is what i sent DA bangalore:
Im pitching to do a book on "indian graphics" , in which i plan to interview graphic artists who have a show case of indian related art and design. i need to do some research on how many people actually are doing indian stuff... so far all i can find is western influenced design...
but any hardcore traditional graphic designers out there? please send me your work...
i need to collect and shortlist. im not too connected with the graphic design and illustration industry in bangalore... so if you have heard of any "design guru's" around town, or if you could kindly follow the smell of marijuana and coffee till you find one...
ill be damn grateful! thanks for your time!
cheers!

It's funny the way India and its neighbours form a "subcontinent", yet Europe (which is also a peninsula of Asia, of similar size) somehow gets to be a "continent"...
