# About me

I'm a guy who likes to day dream, and when I can actually find the time to do so, illustrate those ideas. My mind is a tempest of war and magic and chaos, brimming with ideas that most of which will not likely see the light of day in one way or another.

I've been at this for a while. I had one profile a LONG time ago that I never updated. I thought about reactivating it, but I wanted a fresh start. I'd have a lot of pieces to put up, but most of my pieces are incomplete. Many still will be, but I'll put up ones that I can actual stand to look at haha! I wish I had the tenacity and fortitude that many artists have, though. If I did, my portfolio would be freaking huge. Alas, this is not the case. But after nearly ten years of working in mind numbing retail, I've had enough. Well, I say that...I'm still going to work because I need money to live but...I'm gonna try to shift my focus a bit to what I actually give a damn about.

I absolutely love visually stimulating Sci-Fi and Fantasy ANYTHING. I play Dungeons and Dragons regularly and so many of my ideas for both writing and drawing have been regurgitated from my adventures. As such, a lot of my focus will be that kind of subject matter.

After I get an actual portfolio's worth of pieces up on Deviant Art, I'll start looking into taking commissions. That is my goal. I think it will also be the idea way to get myself to start thinking outside of my comfort zone, which is admittedly very confined.
