thank you for your appreciation of my work,, i had tried 3D max but sadly i could not comprehend it plus my computer cannot handle its load so i just stick to the current program that I am using which is sketchup but still thank you for your suggestion

hi, no problem, i really like your ship concepts, remind me one tv show, stargate atlantis, especially "batisitca II" if i understood the pictures, the ship have a big nice cannon in the middle of it, right?see that thing shoots, should be really amazing (maybe in future you can make the ships in battle, shooting, taking damage,and some action,). and thanks for the watch.

well actually the big cannons are on the front, i have been trying those type of effects but sadly lol it does not end up good,, but im keeping a tab on it watch out for my action scenery in the future . thanks again

it alright about the action scene i think it will take not a while but years lol,,, i still don't have the luxury of time to learn it (basically i don't know where to start and no one around me knows lol)

i know what you say, some time ago, i was exactly in same place, is difficult start something new, if you have no help, and time is crucially, maybe i can help you if you want, telling you some tips and tricks, if you already see my concept weapon, that image have a huge photo manipulation, first thing you need is, read a lot of magazines (but this you already know,,lol), second step is prepare the render for manipulation, if you wont know what is "renders passes" search on google for it, but basically, you render the image but at same time the software (in my case, 3ds max) render some other images, with the reflections, shadows, transparency, separately, so, in this away you can adjust in photoshop, or even in combustion this things individually and you wont need to make selections around the objects to separate it from the background, because you can render one image with it, well, after this,, time,,,unfortunately, time is a big problem, but if you really like this stuff you will stay waked all night long if needed lol (like i do, lol), another thing, start to sketch on paper, my process is print a low res image, and sketch on top of it, is much more easy erase something on paper , well, it is done, sorry for the text, if you need some tips ask me(maybe i can help)...good work.., (i don't know if the software you use support that kind of renders, search for more info.)

hm.. ill look into it,, sketchup does have a lot of add-on applications that help out.. ill do some research and hopefully i can follow on your footsteps
