Keep meaning to update this bit but never get around to it. Very much a hobbyist, the fun for me is in making the drawings rather than the satisfaction of producing something beautiful that I enjoy looking at. In fact looking at my pictures tends to cause me some discomfort and I'm self-critical to a pathological degree. Getting better every day though.I'm a bit fickle when it comes to settling down and sticking to a medium. Current flavour of the month is charcoal, but that could all change soon. So far we've dabbled with pencils, digital painting, acrylic and pen & ink - oh, and a month or two playing with 3D rendering.
It's all about faces and figures for me, I don't have a landscapey or still-lifey bone in my body. STILL not managed to get to a life drawing class, but I will. One day.

Thanks for the favourite! That's really kind of you to ask if I've got any requests. At the moment I've got stacks of material (including a few more of yours) to be working from. Right now I'm just practicing hard on technique and learning to use colour but I might get back to you to ask for a pose in the future. I've got a very general request and that's for pictures with a strong off-centre light source. Really liked the spear one with the shadow of the arm thrown onto your body, then in your gallery there's 'posing 23' that I'm going to have a go at. If I compare with 'posing 14', indoors on the sofa it would be harder for me to use because I rely so much on the light to pick out the form. Hope that makes sense. Thanks again, and I'll probably be in touch again soon when I've drawn you again.
