It's a skill that can be learned--just like working with a computer program--it just takes committment and practice! :D (Big Grin) Nod Nod Nod Nod Nod A couple of good instruction books or better yet, some formal classes, and then consistent practice will yield wonderful results--give it a go! i think i agree...i used to draw, while in high school and younger...i just gave it up before i had a lot of practice at it...and i'm self taught with all my photo/digi stuff...SO i guess i could try and learn, but when all is said and done...its not just a thing you learn, its a God given talent...and YOU will always be a cut above ;) (Wink)

but maybe one day i can make something semi-realistic

Seriously, tho: if you used to draw, it would come back to you pronto if you took up the pencils again--then it would simply be a matter of applying some commitment to practicing with "seeing," and then putting that pencil to paper! If you're interested, I can offer some good links to sites that have basic types of instruction (references, guides, etc.) that could be useful...let me know! And if there's anything I could do to help you along, don't hesitate to ask! :D (Big Grin) And keep up with the manips and digital work--the compositional skills there translate directly to traditional art (AND vice versa! ;) (Wink) )!
