I'm more into pens, but i like the shadows being more prevalent on the drawings.

I'm a huge John Van Fleet and Guy Davis fan, a Vampire: Masquerade born and raised. So, it's pretty much wired into me. Hope to see more good artwork from you.

Id use a mixture if pens and ink brushes! And yea something just feels good having strong solid shadows :) (Smile)
Im a huge fan of John Le and his work, especially his black and white line work.

Oh, just googled it, looks great! If a bit too clean for my taste hahahah.

Yeah, i use pretty much cheap stuff, like black markers for whiteboards and cd markers and such. As long as it's black and not that dark purple stuff, i'm gold.

Strong solid shadows are great cuz they pop the drawing more.

Have you played Darkest Dungeon? Or checked the artwork? Chris Bourassa is pretty good with the shadows too. The simple style fits, and the shadowing gives good volume, it's just good.

I used to have cleaner brighter pieces like that but have slowly experimented and moved more towards what im doing now.

I love everything to do with Darkest Dungeon, not the best at playing it but love it to bits. The art, the music the slow weary pace its all just fantastic.

The game itself is a rngfest, but it's a great game. The pacing goes a bit slow since it's so rngbased. The art is top notch. The music is good, but the art is really the peak point of the game

Cleaner and brighter pieces are cool to do once in a while, depends on the mood of the story/character i'm working on at said time.
