# About me

My name is Joe Steel, I am 16, living in north Shropshire, UK.
I want to do concept art for games/films when i'm old enough and use it to break into the game industry (specifically game design)
I am currently studying art, sculpture, history and english litrature at A level, next year I plan to go to uni to study games design, conept art or art.
I'm using Deviantart to improve my own artwork, I do concept art sketches and Photoshop paintings as practice for becoming a professional concept artist.
I am interested in seeing other peoples work in the same area as mine.

Thanks, yeah i read that on you ID thing, best of luck with it all and i would say the main thing is just draw everything all the time, if you are interested in uk student / pro work check out jordangrimmer on my watch list, he's in my class but does some commissions too, very very good environments

im going to shrewsbury SCAT college doing a games development Btec in september [link] i should pick up a few skills there and depending on what i enjoy i will find a university corse (could be Teeside) :) (Smile) thanks

Teesside University, they do a lot of games courses at undergrad and masters level, pretty good place to aim for if that is the direction you wish to take, something like this ? [link]
