Because of some details like rivets and so on..

Yeah.. I can imagine, that it takes a lot of time to do this pictures! >_<
I don't think that I would have the patience doing that.. oo
But one of the good things of my drawings is, that I can draw on them every time I want.. When I go by train or in school.. or work.. o..o I don't need something special except pencils and some paper. xD
