As a self taught painter, I work mainly in oils although my earlier paintings were in acrylics. In the last year I have been diving more into layering through indirect painting and exploring the techniques of many of the great traditional artists. As I continue to evolve as a painter, I have come to realize that I am passionate about narrative art. It is always my hope to create paintings that have visual interest, deeper meaning, and capture the essence of an image.
