I'm still not sure whether that was a dramatic photograph with the crashing wave or
one of serenity imagining the background sound of the waves.
Maybe those argumentative birds push it towards the dramatic

It might be pushing the point but the moral of the Thurber fable I quoted; "Who flies afar from the sphere of our sorrow is here today and here tomorrow." could be applied to the Covid-19 situation that is affecting so many of us

I really appreciate it! This is an A4 Graphite Drawing which I will colour using PhotoShop CS2!
I am just recovering from my full right knee replacement and developing my skills walking on crutches!
The operation went really well and I watched “Bohemian Rhapsody using a Virtual Reality headset whilst my knee was being replaced!
This meant that I didn’t need any extra sedation apart from the spinal anaesthetic!
It was really successful, but as is normal, I am now having an extended period of sleep difficulties!
It will be well worth it though!

Hi Mike, thanks for faving the "Bleak House..." photograph. Perhaps not my favourite submission and certainly not the cheeriest landscape I've captured but I did like recreating the effect of an old vintage post card. I clearly remember equally unwelcoming views on cards, with slightly distorted colour tones and browned edges, outside seaside shops when I was a kid...

We might be hiding from nature currently but its beautiful face is beginning
to show itself after the gloom of winter, at least in the northern hemisphere
