Recently I have been making a lot of anti-seller journals that make me seem super shady, but I am on both sides.
You are not protected if you have your rules in your adoptables' description, ending with a, "You agree to these terms upon purchase." That is not enough to protect you, especially in court.
Adoptables are known as intellectual properties, or IP for short.
"Intellectual property (IP) refers to creations of the mind, such as inventions; literary and artistic works; designs; and symbols, names and images us Bought a character or design?update, 09/13/2018: I am not telling anyone to deliberately disobey someones "rules" because they legally can. I am simply saying your rules are not backed anything, you can not legally revoke a design that was bought, and you do not have a say in how much they resell it for. To be honest, I'd suggest not buying from someone asking you not to resell your own character. Avoid the trouble. They're bigots. Annoying and selfish, and are upset you are making a profit they didn't?
update, 10/14/2017: I am still a little disturbed that there are many a people thinking it is rude or disrespectful
to realize a profit down the road, or sell a charact

Oh, wow, thank you so much! My deviations aren't necessarily art, they're actually photos and screenshots for other artists to use as reference. I do have a folder called "Original Artwork" that consists of original art from various artists, along with my own if that peaks your interest
