# About me

From the Kodak Instamatic camera I received as a Christmas gift when I was 10, to shooting medium to large format, then back to hand held cameras, photography has been a major part of my life. Writing is another form of expression I enjoy, but as they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I've always concentrated on black and white images for their detail and drama, but vivid colorful images are also a joy to behold. Since my move to rural America I have found a whole new world of beauty to record, including the people who live here.
