Hi.
You have a great and inspiring artistic vision.
I like a lot the mood that you and your models have created, especially in the "locoshed" series.
I'm really looking forward to see new art from you.

Hi Seb!
Thanx....really...your comments are much appreciated. The 'money' work life treadmill still drags me away from any furtherΒ exploration of the shadowy side to my psyche but every dog has his day - let's hope it's more than just one day!
Best wishes

Hi Seb - thanks very much for visiting my albums and for your great comments - my work has kept me apart from my own explorations (I'm afraid to say due to simply having to earn money!) However in due course I will find new musesΒ to tantaliseΒ
the darker visions out of my eye!

My first visit to this gallery, and I was delighted to spend time here. The images are astounding, and the models spectacular. Takes a lot of moxie to stand around with tightly bound breasts while a photographer seeks just the right exposure!
I was particularly interested in your use of lighting and shadow, and was most appreciative of your B/W work. I was wondering whether you were happy with all your cleaning and filtering experiments, or whether the as-taken originals carry more power for you?

Hey Danny
Thanks so much for your observations - 99% of the b&w images especially the 'Lulu' series, were originated on 35mm with my old trusty Nikon F2as & FE. It does take a lot to wring the best out of the old negatives (cleaning and spotting with PS6 instead of using chemicals to a print! Ye Gods I remember those frustrations too well) but when you get it right they do have a certain something that digital misses. For me the marriage of an analogue original, harnessed to the flexibility of modern digital post-production is perfect.
Does an original negative have more cache than a digital file? As long as one's image can tell the desired story I don't think it ultimately matters.

Your main body of work caught my eye a little while ago, and new additions are usually clearly identifiable as yours - there's a powerful beauty to your images that immediately grabs attention. And then you surprise us with an occasional, simple yet effective nude. Keep up the great work.

You have incredible images in your gallery.
Love the play of light and shadow especially in the grungy warehouse settings.
They deliver real tension and drama.
The models are excellent too.
I'm sure finding someone that could cope with all that wire breast bondage wasn't easy either.

Hey thanks so much for the feedback - it's much appreciated. Yep she was a real trouper. We had a lot of fun (although it doesn't look like for her!!!).

its been a long time since I tied up a model.
It looks like fun.
That is one of the huge advantages of living in an urban environment. Sure the competition is more intense but the access to interesting people is also greater.
Out here in the desert...yeah..its a desert.

Yep - the ultra urban environment that is London gives people a certain anonymity which can be liberating.

Nice!
The town I live in is so small that everyone already knows me as "that guy who sits in the corner of the bar and draws all the time".
In a larger town no-one would even notice me but here..its a big deal.
I'm pretty much resigned to never doing rl bondage again.
