It's just fun and the character designs a cool too x'3

Well uhh... Single story mode you have to fight Octopus people who've stolen the power source of your town called Zapfish, they're electric catfish! XD

And there are Turf wars and Ranked battles you can play with people all over the world, you level up to get new weapons and raise money to buy outfits to get abilities to help you out in those battles.

Turf wars are more fun and don't feel so competitive than Ranked battles.

MUAHAHA! I SHALL NEVER STOP WITH SPLATOON! ...Unless it pisses me off. 8'I
