Umm, I'm not completely sure. I've been drawing since I was pretty young... so maybe 12 years? I think the most important thing though is that I try to draw every day. Even if I'm just drawing something really simple and small, it helps keep me from stopping.

Yeah, of course I get frustrated by my art sometimes. If I have something specifically that I'm having a hard time drawing (right now it's water lol), I do a study from a photo and if it still doesn't look right to me I take a break from it and come back to it in a few days. Sometimes you can get "fresh eyes" and see the mistakes once you've left it for a while.
