Huzzah!I've been assigned a cleaning duty to the DoomsdayNow Group. So I'll be reviewing stuff and making sure it qualifies as actual apocalyptic art. Seriously, a gas mask and a sad smile doesn't necessarily have to qualify as apocalyptic art. It looks more like it's some kind of gas mask fetish, looks even more so when you point out the fact that the person in question is naked.

About the location of people, true. I got for example one friend who lives pretty damn far from me. Two hours by train. Excluding the bus ride to the train station and the ride from the train station once I actually get to his town. He wanted me to join me and his friend in a friendly little game making session. Haven't found the time yet though.
As for modeling. First off, Swedish people aren't as trusting as we used to be. Hell, I've lent out money to people who looked to be in need, realizing that such situations suck royally, but ended up getting robbed instead.
Besides, Modeling sounds like a boring job. Simple, sure. But boring. That's why I'm attempting to join the game making industry. Currently studying game writing for just that occasion.
But right now, this very second. I'm trying to code a Isometric chess game in game maker. I think I may have gone over my head. When code makes your head spin when you look at it, metaphorically, you probably need something easier. If isn't metaphorically, you're probably possessed by the devil.. or got some kind of weird head spinning disease, which sounds fatal.
I just wish I didn't spend two days making isometric chess pieces, because I worked my ass of to make them. Although I didn't make the Rook chess piece. I think today's rant got a little long, but shit happens. XD

Sorry you got your money stolen; I guess things aren't always as they appear. But hey, I know a lot of people who wouldn't give anything to someone in need, so that says a lot about your character.
And I think a chess game is a rather good place to start. I mean, if it is too hard, by all means scale it back... But I've seen a lot of different online chess games out there, so it's probably the one you can get the most help on. I bet there are loads of tutorials.
Are you making classic chess pieces, or are you switching it up a bit? I've seen physical (ones you can actually touch) chess pieces made into dragons, wizards, and Chinese dogs, but I'm not at all sure how hard that'd be to do on the computer. XD

Well, we are all busy and spend only time we got left over. To answer your question. Yes, they are custom pieces, the black team are liches, undead and whatnot while the white team are good guys.
I didn't actually make the rook piece, but do you think I should upload it anyway? It's pretty badass looking, at least the black pieces.
The queen doesn't exist in my chess though. The black team has a undead warlock instead, while the white has a white wizard.
The Bishop in the black team is a sorcerer, the Bishop in the white team is a monk. It is heavily inspired by Heroes 3.

I've never played chess without a queen. Seems odd, but then, most new inventions do. Will the wizards still have all the same movements as a queen?
Admittedly, I never did get around to playing Heroes 3. I owned it as well as many other old PC games, but I never played any of them. (I was too lazy. T^T) Mainly I stick to RPG games on the PS2 and PSP.

Yes, the movements are the same as the queen. I just thought the whole concept of a queen,
being able to move everywhere, was a little silly. I mean, historically, queens had significantly less movement than a king.

Are you familiar at all with Catherine the Great? She deserves to be an almighty chess piece. Queen "Bloody" Mary is another one that comes to mind.

As for my name, I'm Swedish. No one born in Sweden spells anything with a "f" sound with "ph" unless they were born from an English speaking family in Sweden or born somewhere else then moved here. Although a typical swedish spelling would've used two "F's". Also, spelling the name with a "K" is also common. Thus looking like this "Kristoffer".
As for my face, I'm starting to realize how hard it is for me to respond to compliments about my appearance due to the total absence of them growing up. Not counting my parents, because, well I haven't seen a single parent not compliment their kids about supposed adorable cuteness 24/7. Actually, that still happens occasionally when my mom gets annoyed when I reply with a witty answer to a question I don't want to answer.
