Silly and random question - I was reading through your responses to the Chao Meme, and noticed in 22 you mention "Egghead." Is that the name of one of your Chao, or a title based on its appearance?

Anyway, that's actually the name of one of my Chao. I've raised six Chao to be counterparts of the six characters. Egghead is Eggman's Chao, and as you'd probably guess, he wears an eggshell on his head.

Wow, that sounds like a carbon copy of what we (my sister and I) did. Our EggHead is a white chao (although with dark allegiance) raised by Eggman, and in his last life, he did wear an a egg shell. Now we're focusing on making him live up to another part of his name - we're trying to make him as smart as possible.

Anyway, my six Chao are normal-colored. It's interesting to see how their colors change as they mature. My three Hero Chao are Dasher, Prower (I can't believe I couldn't come up with a better name, I should've just called him Wings or something) and Angel. They're run-type, flying-type, and power-type, as if that wasn't obvious. My Dark Chao are Foggy (run-type), Egghead (normal-type), and Glitter (flying-type). What are your Chao's names?

Sonic's - Dash (run hero)
Tails' - Sky (fly hero)
Knuckles' - Bruno (normal red hero)
Shadow's - Dark - (Used to be normal dark, now run dark)
Eggman's - EggHead (used to be normal white dark, now fly white dark)
Rouge's (and the one that earned me all of the chao emblems) Batsy - (used to be run dark, now normal dark) I'm hoping to turn her into a Chaos Chao, and I'm close.
Oh, and I made an edit on the Sonic vs. Shadow pic that fixed Sonic's wonky shoe.

Wow. Kind of similar, aren't we? I was thinking of making Dasher and Foggy Chaos Chao too, but I'm not exactly sure how to do that. I know they have to go through two lifetimes, and then they must be given one of every animal. Is that about the size of it?

Got the Chaos Chao! Had a scare when she evolved but didn't turn Chaos - I reset and found she was missing a seal.

Couple questions, though. Was Batsy at the end of her second lifetime, where the metamorphosis is the rebirth/death sort of deal, or was she at the start of her third lifetime and metamorphosing into her mature form? And I heard somewhere that you can't give a Chao Chaos Drives if you want it to become a Chaos Chao... Is that true?
Oh, and one more question. What does she look like?

Start of third, turning into adult, and I believe that Chaos Drives blows the transformation. That and the wrong number of animals.
As for appearance, Chaos Chao can't look very different. There are only 3 varieties - Dark (Devil), Neutral (Light), and Hero (Angel). Only if the Chao was specially colored does it affect the Chaos form's appearance. You can type Chaos Chao here on dA and get a pretty good idea of what the three varieties look like.

Chaos Drives blow it? Aw, crud! I've been giving my Chao nothing but Chaos Drives. ...Does this only count for the time when you give the Chao every animal, or does it blow it if the Chao is given a Chaos Drive in any lifetime? I find it a little hard to believe that Batsy got you all of the Chao Stadium emblems if she was given nothing to raise her stats.

Okay, a few things to clear up. Only what you do on the life you are trying to get the Chaos Chao in matters. Chaos drives, animals, etc. do not mean anything in past lives. I raised Batsy's stats to win the races with tons of different items, but when she got to her third life, I gave her one of every animal and no Chaos Drives, and that's what turned her into a Chaos Chao. Now that she's there, I can treat her normally.
This can be repeated on any life after the second until you get the right result.
