Hi Nala! Yeah, I haven't really bee active aside from looking at a few people's posts and commenting. And I'm so behind on some people's stuff that I just fell out of it and haven't kept up.

I do see that your stuff seems to still be going along well, though I haven't actually looked at a page in years. Might catch up someday.

It's good to hear from you! And I get that, being inactive-ish. This has actually been my first full year of being active on DA since 2015. But I feel like I'm puttin' right along now.

I have a schedule for uploading Brothers pages now and I have three new comic strips that I'm going to launch this month. I do hope you'll catch up sometime. I always loved seeing your comments.

And otherwise I'm doing well! Been busy, but overall - life is good. How're you doin?

Good. Ish. I've got a new full time job as a bus Monitor for special needs kids, but I have to wake up SUPER early which is hard since I'm not a morning person and a night owl. Plus, I don't have a car, so during our 4 hour break I have to stay on site or go home for like 20 minutes before I have to head right back out since I catch the bus to work and it only runs hourly. I really wish I had a car, so I could come and go as I please. My driver lives close-ish to me, but she's always too bust to drop me off home or pik me up in the morning, which is getting hard since it's getting winter. And I can't miss my bus and be late for work since I'm new and on 90-day probation, which of course only counts school days, so missing a bus or anything not involving a written doctor's note might get me fired. So I wake up at 4:00, leave around 5:05, and usually don't get home until nearly 7 because my bus gets back just after my city leaves, and the next one that should come in 15 minutes due to a godly stroke of luck in scheduling actually gets there 20-30 late due to heavy traffic. So by the time I get home I really should only have time to get and get ready for bed, but being a night owl I stay up till almost midnight online when I KNOW I have to wake up at 4. 

So in short, I'm kind of a mess...

Oh yeah. I haven't found anything concrete about what might have happened to Plegia after Grima was killed. Like if anyone survived the mass sacrifice at the Dragon's table when he was revived, or if the infinite(yes infinite) Grimleal reinforcements in the final battle survived. They implied that practically every Plegian citizen had become a member of the Grimleal due to the fallout of the first war and then Validar practically giving away all of the country's money to fund the Shepards in Valm. So was everyone brainwashed? Did the ones that weren't sacrificed mind controled into fighting in the final battle? Were they released from the mind control if you didn't kill them endlessly? Did they even survive the battle anyway? And if they survived and were freed from mind control, did they just go home? How many people were killed? How fucked up is Plegia after the war? They have no king, no high priest, and no 'god', and the rest of the world would probably think they are all still members of the evil Grimleal that nearly destroyed the whole world and would look down on them. And what if some of them are still loyal members of the Grimleal that are pissed that their 'god' was killed and want to seek revenge?

The game doesn't answer any of these questions, just has a happy end where Grima is dead(maybe) and the Avatar either still living or coming back to life. Gangrel probably dies in a ditch somewhere if you don't marry him and never becomes king again, and the other Plegians just go about their lives without any mention of the state of the country. There's no way Plegia would be just fine after that. Thousands, possibly millions are dead, there's no ruler, the country that was already in shambles is now even worse off, and the whole world knows that they are the ones responsible for nearly destroying the world. If no one steps up to rule and put the country back together, then Plegia might be broken apart into smaller countries, absorbed by Ylisse and Regna Ferox, or become a no man's land of scattered people and roaming bandits. I just can't think that that's ok or nobody cares, just because they were 'the bad guys' and the good guys won and got their happy ending. works well for a story, but for a real country with real people, the aftermath is simply horrifying to think about. Just because their mad 'god' nearly destroyed the world and mind controlled and killed most of the population before dying doesn't mean the country should go to hell. SOMEBODY has to help.

Sent the note. Basically the Grimleal were indeed exterminated. If there were survivors, they'd likely have to go into hiding to avoid all the people, not just the Shepards, who wanted them dead.

Not everyone in Plegia is part of the Grimleal, even after Validar's reign, while many citizens lost hope and morality, thus joining the Grimleal, many didn't. Everything indicates the majority survived due to not joining the Grimleal. Remember Future Grima's ritual only affected those that had been praying for the Fell/Evil Dragon to return. Hence the lack of mourning, remember the Grimleal is openly called Cult of the EVIL dragon in Japan, not to be confused with cult of the morally suspect dragon.

I do imagine Plegia's reputation is in ruins, then again it wasn't good to begin with. Remember in Awakening's main plot:

* Ylisse hates Plegia
* Chrom's father invaded Plegia with the intent of exterminating the Grimleal, but failed miserably and only succeeded in wasting soldiers, ruining Ylisse's econonmy, and getting innocent bystanders. 
* Ferox Hates Plegia.
* The Grimleal and its thugs terrorize Plegia, causing most citizens of Plegia to want them dead in turn and welcome Ylisse.
* Gangrel hates Plegia just as much as everyone else. 
* Walhart and Valm hates Plegia, so much that his empire was created for the sole purpose of exterminating the Grimleal.
* Grima views Plegia and the Grimleal just as a bunch of snacks.

Basically things can't get much worse for Plegia as is. They'd might even be comparatively better off as despite the casualties, all the evil people, the Grimleal are dead.

The ruler is a mystery, most probable idea is Ylisse turns it into a vassal state for a while and they're ruled by Chrom. Gangrel's spotpass ending and supports mentions him taking control of the country king again, which sounds utterly awful in my honest opinion. 

Grima is technically a Dragon, similar to Nowi, Tiki, and such. The games make a distinction between Manaketes/Dragons and gods. Basically its human<<
But yes, I agree. In a way, Awakening is "Everybody Hates Plegia" the Game.

But as for the dragon=god thing, most people do consider Naga and Grima to be gods, but not all dragons and manaketes, though they are considered holy. So much so that Naga herself had to tell the Shepards that they weren't actually gods. The Shepards know now, but other people don't.

Well the Divine Dragons have holy/Light based elemental powers, but the other dragons have different elemental powers is a good way to put it. Basically above humans, but not god level.
