thank you for the comment on Two Mustangs. Yeah I guess it was oversi ght on my part about the fence.(I was in a bit of a rush to finish since I have a few commissions to do) As for the front end it was a bit exaggerated for dramatic effect.

No, soft pastels are not oil pastels, it's quite the opposite. While oil pastels have lot of binding incredients (I am sorry, but I don't know the exact word in english) soft pastel have not. Indeed, they are pretty much like chalk. I find them very easy to use and you can achieve great effects especially on coloured paper. I think you should give it a try. It's defenitely worth it

You're welcome I thought it looked like pastel- "soft" pastels would be the oil kind, right? I've only used chalk and hated it, but I would like to try oils.
