I heard this Pent Daman, the pegasus with magical wings, was your idea.
Do you have anywhere I can read more about him? I find what little I heard about him to be FASCINATING!

...he doesn't have magical wings...he's a mutated unicorn. Meaning that he was supposed to be born a unicorn but his genes clashed with his magic and instead made him a Pegasus. Making the wings completely natural, yet not at the same time. His magic has welled up inside of him ever since birth since he has no outlet for it and he isn't a very strong flier, due to the fact that he wasn't even supposed to be one. His magic occasionally has chaotic bursts where they come rushing out in many ways. Being a look into someone's memories, taking of someone's pain, making himself unnaturally empathetic with someone, and the most dangerous one. Changing him into a much darker persona. This isn't a split personality, it's more of the darker, angrier side every one of us harbors increased tenfold. Whenever he becomes extremely, EXTREMELY stressed or angered. His magic takes over him and causes a loss of control. This loss of control gives him increased strength, increased speed and increased confidence in himself. This isn't dangerous to pent himself or anyone he cares about, it's more dangerous to the person who activates this because when it is, he starts not thinking clearly and only acting on his killer instinct alone. However this doesn't cause any physical changes aside from his coat and mane darkening and his eyes changing from a soft baby blue to a deep fire orange. The only reason his pent up magic causes this is because due to the frustration he has had in his life in general, it has corrupted it into a much darker magic than ponies normally have, causing some of those chaotic outbreaks and changes. However the second most dangerous effect that the magic takes on pent is premonition of an important event, both positive and negative. He has had visions of horrible things happening to people around him, some involving and also wonderful visions. When pent was a colt he used to have visions of twilight, however when they actually got together he started to see some other things. Horrible things that would involve the both of them. I don't want to go into more detail because then I would spoil the story. I plan to actually post my story with him in public for everyone to read. But for now...that was a good explanation, right?

This reminds me of my Felix.

Well, Felix's story can be a rather strewn out string of "lessons" learned, but most simply put could be this:
Felix was smart. Felix was also full of himself. He convinced people he could read their minds and know their thoughts by playing his tricks and earning their adoration. Personally coined the term "Felixious" which is everything a person could ever want to be.
He called himself the mindtraveller.
So eventually... he becomes cursed. Now he literally travels minds and cannot turn it off. He now knows and feels everything from everyone, whether he wants to or not.
And so starts his journey of learning in the meaning of empathy and just how much you can find in the heart of another.
The question waiting to be answered is if this curse consumes him in the end or whether he will find a way out of it that he can live his life again.

The similarities are in Felix's struggle to contain the voices that overwhelm his mind by feeling everyone around him. It's not a very defining similarity, but it just made me think of him, y'know?
But eh, it's my story I guess. No one ever really cares to hear these, so I keep them on the broad aspect of things overall.

I'm legitimately interested and I like it, I just didn't really see the similarities...also, you may have already thought of this, but have you thought of headaches? Like his mind would be so overwhelmed with all the different thoughts, emotions, feelings etc. that he would get a splitting headache?....not really adding much to the story but..it's just a thought.

The headaches are actually a fundamental plot device.
In being forced to hear everything going on in everyone's minds, Felix is very susceptible to be overwhelmed by the loudest emotions and thoughts all at once, crippling into a head-splitting break down that often results in wild outbursts of energy around him. This is what I find to be similar between him and Pent.
I'm not yet sure how Felix's energy outbursts work, though...
Regardless, they seem capable of dealing physical damage to the area around him, and I often find myself leaning towards mechanics like earthquake tremors or sound waves.
