If you're going to pray, do it the right way. I know, I once thought that praying to keep something was the right thing to do, I was wrong. Sometimes, we need to look at what God what's best for us, and sometimes, in order to grow as human beings, we need to let go, and know what's best for us.
Whatever he did to hurt you, you shouldn't blame yourself, that's exactly what he wants, he wants you to feel guilty and have thoughts of suicide, so it'll make him think he has power over you and to be controlling, so he can do whatever he wants later, DON'T FALL FOR THAT. Don't let the devil use you, because Satan will deceive you in that way, but let the word of God settle in, he wants you to be happy, and stronger.
[Hebrews 11:1] "To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see."
One more thing, something I'm sure your parents told you, when someone hurts you, if someone hurts you, wishing for them to come back, will only open the door for them to hurt you again the next time, only worst. But if you want to do something, if you want to say a prayer, do it the right way, God's way. You can say whatever you want, but follow the LORD's example.
[Romans 12:14] "Ask God to bless everyone who mistreats you. Ask him to bless them and not to curse them."
Sometimes, it order to truly be open to God, we need to let go or certain things, because God wants something better for us. Faith in Jesus Christ is the best strategy for defeating depression.
