I'll say both short and long versions out of convenience.
Short version: I'm the one who popularize ShadTwi (Shadow X Twilight) after reading a fanfic since 2012. As an admin in Sonic/MLP dA groups, I've also forbade other pairings contradictory with ShadTwi.
Long version: Back in 2012, Sonic/MLP crossover fans popularly decided to pair Sonic with Rainbow and Knuckles with Applejack. They were undecided on who Shadow and Twilight be paired with. Whether Shadow should be with Glida, Luna, Trixie, Fluttershy, or Pinkie; Twilight with either Tails or Silver. I made the call for ShadTwi after reading a fanfic by forming ShadowXTwilight , and have been invested in commissions to promote the pairing up since. Over time, I gained admin status in major Sonic/MLP groups and made the decision to restrict other Shadow/Twilight pairings. Admittedly, it was a unpopular decision to impose my personal interests onto others and I had been having some doubts, but I stand by my verdict.
