It was a very cool piece, plus Dooku was one of my only favorite characters in the prequel movies. I hated almost everyone else, I did like Obi Wan and Qui Gon though.

I like Dooku as well. I like that you have responded. I made that piece years ago and I really like it too. I like to sometimes think about what the galaxy would have been like if Dooku were Emperor instead of Palpatine even though Palpatine is my absolute favorite puppetmaster. Why don't you like him?

I liked Palpatine I suppose, but I think Dooku or Darth Tyranus was a better Sith Lord. Darth Sidious was stuck in the ways of trying to destroy the Jedi, a real Sith cares not about destruction, but of peace. Much like Darth Vectivus, who died in his sleep amongst his friends and family, I think Dooku was more of a practical Sith Lord, who might have seen the Jedi as potential allies in his quest to bring peace to the galaxy.

Wow! I wasn't aware of anyone who remembered who Darth Vectivus was. I really like that character. So much so, that I created a photograph of him. It is not on this website, but I do have one. What do you think of Lady Lumiya?

I think Dark Lady Lumiya was motivated by a want of too much revenge upon Luke Skywalker, and so I don't think she could have ever become the Master that the Sith would have needed. Her apprentice Darth Caedus, the once Jacen Solo, was in effect, flawed. He was not taught by a proper Sith, and so, while more powerful and much more than Lumiya could have ever been, he also could not have been the Master that the Sith needed.

I do think that Lumiya was a pretty amazing character though, and one must remember that there have not been many who can, or who did, hold the title of Dark Lady of the Sith.

You liked Thrawn. What was his full name? Did you like him because he was the first enemy in the novel series or because the character was so cool? I made a photograph of Thrawn. What do you think? Is there anyone else you can see playing him if he showed up in Star Wars VII or VIII?

I don't recall his full name, as I know that when I read it, I couldn't even pronounce it. I liked him because he didn't use the Force, he was a villain that did so much based on his own abilities.

For once it was a totally believable villain.

As for Jason Issacs playing Thrawn, I could see that.

Thanks for your comments. Yes Thrawn was brilliant. There is no doubt about that. I have a huge Star Wars novel collection. I think I have read every one with the main characters in it. Do you read a lot too? You must. You have really grasped the characters.

I had sympathy for Bane. I only read one of the Bane books. I try to focus on the main characters from the movies mostly though. I would not call a hobby weird.

As for the Bane books, I would suggest reading all three. He wasn't to do with the movies, but it was still a great trilogy. The man who wrote them also wrote the story line or helped write the story line for the Knights of the Old Republic videogame, which was amazing, and then he also wrote(or helped write) the story line for the Mass Effect trilogy, also pretty amazing games.

Originals all the way, I hated the re mastered and redone versions, especially at the end of Return of the Jedi where they put in Hayden Christensen as the ghost. That annoyed the hell out of me

Lol how can you cut back from the awesomness that is comic books? I went to the place I know sells them, and I found one of the best comics I ever read. Superman:Red Son, alternative storyline in which superman lands in the Soviet Union instead of the U.S.A.
One of the best I have ever read, and one of my favorites. Easily top five.
I freakin love Halo. I have read the novels, played the game, read the graphic novel, and even have the Halo Encyclopedia.
I love it almost as much as I love Star Wars......speaking of which, DAMN YOU GEORGE LUCAS!
Lucas sold Star Wars to Disney. Just when I though he couldnt do any worse.

no but I get like......15-20 comics a month....
Lately my fav is Red Hood & The Outlaws and I really miss the pre-52 Red Robin comics....

Halo is my love pretty much. I've read all the novels but the last 2 (laziness), have the encyclopedia, own all the comics (except for 2...I can't find them!) and played all the games....and yeah many posters in my room, and I have bought most of the Xbox magazines that have Halo in them too.

I'm actually okay with Lucas selling it...I mean....he has only been doing things that people hate and is only re-releasing the same content (with added stuff that fans hate) and Disney has a chance to take it off the shelf and try and fix it. I mean it's possible they could do good. The only thing I don't like is that they aren't taking it from the books, they are going to be making up their own crap and that sucks.
