Hello. I like your creative art and your work and I would like to throw you a proposition. I am in the process of creating a business that takes creative, innovative, and inspiring ideas for mostly new types of military vehicles, weapons systems and combat systems and then pitches them to well known companies like Honeywell, Bell, Lockheed Martin, Northrop and Grumman for “possible” consideration and creation. All my company does is design, we leave it to the well expericend Tec’s and engineers of witch-ever company wants to buy into our ideas to make our innovation an actual, economical, efficient, reality.
However, as I said before I’m just starting my business profile and just getting on my feet. This means funds are limited. I don’t have the funds to pay an artist an hour at a time for work or out-right. The way we would work together with your skills is as follows, I would give you an idea I have in mind, we would talk it over through e-mail, what it’s for, how it works, and so on. Then you would design it in the same mock-up style you have done here on DevineArt.com. That design is what would be pitched to the company. If the they like what they see, you get your fair share of the profit and royalities. But… if they don’t like what they see and don’t choose to buy, then their is no payout. Witch means no money for either of us.
This may sound foolish, like you would be working for free for something that may never get looked at, but this is not true. Look at this way. You as an artist already have created and posted numerous creative photos and ideas on DeviveArt.com. You done this for free. So why not do something and take part in something with the possibility of getting a payout of tens-of -thousands of dollars (if not more). Why not design something that can actually be used??? I would like a 3-d view of a Valkeriye 1-6 shuttle from avatar, a 3-d version of the enterprise F, a battle ship with the body on the right and the engine on the left, and a stealth bomber with oscalating engines that can both land and lift plane.
I hope this isn't too much for you?

Hey. I have been really, really impressed by your ship designs - they are by far and away the best ship designs I have seen outside commercial sfx setups.
From some of the comments here I can see you dislike letting others use your designs - an attitude I understand very well - but I was wondering if I might possibly use an appropriately credited still shot or two of the designs in a RPG I am running at my club. I came across the Champion-Class design and was slightly stunned at how closely the Party's frigate came, both spec wise and designwise, to your design.
I hope you do not dismiss this out of hand - to use such wonderful images would be an honour - but I will not hold a refusal against you and will remain entranced by your talent and skills.

Hope this isn't too late to get back to you. There is far and again a difference between using someone else's work for private/reference/display purposes and using it for artistic/commercial purposes. It is only the latter I have any objection to. I'd be flattered, as I am with your comments.

Yo Jack you should get Skype; A recent xFire updated killed my ability to run Xfire in Mac OS, and I only get on xfire when I play games. It would be cool if you had Skype anyways... I seem to use nothing but it anymore.
