Greetings from other side of the planet, all the way from north. Not to mention fan of your ex; InvertedShadow who I like to call as Brother Shadow.
You have been bit of riddle to me when I first time saw your Flutterwolf in some of his old vids, question hit me; Who is she?
Until now, I get to know who are you. While I also get answer on my question what I was saving to ask him at one point.
Hope I wasn't intrusive.

Not at all intrusive. My apologies for a delayed response, I don't get on DA much anymore. Did you have any other burning questions about me?

Reply about you not been DA active lately: It's understandable.
Reply do I got more questions for you: Hmm.. Well.. What inspired you to create your Flutterwolf?

My inspiration...is a bit convoluted. For just about any TV show or game that I especially love, I've always had a tendency to create a sort of mental avatar that I can insert to get a better feel for how that world would work. I wouldn't necessarily say that the character my mind invents is a mirror of the real me, but it uses certain aspects of my interests or personality, and then I can ask that little avatar "What would you do?", and as my understanding of the universe that bit of media is set in grows, my little avatar evolves and becomes their own entity.
So at the start, I noticed I had a lot of shared traits with Fluttershy, and as I love wolves, I put the two together and got FlutterWolf. Her color is based on the real life silver dapple, which is a natural color that still looks fanciful. I couldn't really stomach making her pastel. Oddly, my avatar was initially an Unicorn, but somewhere along the line she became a Pegasus. I'm not really sure how or why, it just seemed more natural for FlutterWolf to have wings. I think it was because she preferred travel over magic. She didn't get a cutie mark until much later on when I finally realized what she wanted to be.
It probably sounds strange that I'm talking about what was a avatar as though she was her own person, but that's what happens with my brain. Anyway, I realized that while she would have the same compassion and empathy for animals that Fluttershy has, FlutterWolf has a wilder, more independent streak. While she's more of an observer, she has no qualms about speaking up for herself or those around her, and she doesn't take any guff from others. She craves what I call natural knowledge, information about the natural world around her instead of book smarts. I tried coming up with cutie mark ideas that would show that (I think one of the prototypes had a leaf, a feather, a claw, and a fish scale around a pebble; a simpler variant was just the feather and claw resting on a rock), but I kept coming back to the same thing.
I love table-top RPGs, and my favorite was the World of Darkness' Werewolf: the Apocalypse. The game was incredibly dark, a look at the futile efforts of werewolves and the other Changing Breeds who were fighting to protect the Earth from the impending apocalypse. There's a werewolf tribe called the Uktena who are obsessed with gathering as much knowledge and as many secrets as they can, believing the power to defeat their enemies and save the earth lay with whatever they could learn. Their glyph became FlutterWolf's cutie mark, seeing as she has a similar thirst for wisdom.
So there we have her. FlutterWolf, the Pegasus who's more interested in what the earth has to offer than the skies, who didn't receive her cutie mark until later in life when she realized that looking for lost secrets was her purpose. I want to do more with this, but I just haven't had the time.
Although...sneak preview of something that perhaps someday I'll get around to. FlutterWolf has been adopted into a pack of Timberwolves. They're a topic I have a massive head cannon about since they really aren't discussed in much in the show. In my head, a Timberwolf is actually a stray bit of wild magic that has used nature to craft a temporary body. At the end of their life cycle, that bit of magic either rejoins with the world's or can be given to another creature, usually another Timberwolf, so that creature may gain what was learned in the former's life. For a Timberwolf to attempt to keep that magic to themselves causes them to become rotten (both in mind and body as the materials they were made with begin to decay) and twists them into something greedy and aggressive, which are the Timberwolves that we see in the show.

While reading story how you invented Flutterwolf, was listening this.
That was quite the answer on my question.
So in nutshell: Flutterwolf is recolor of Fluttershy in different personality. Hope you didn't took that as insult.
Also.. I don't know do you take this personally, but I get this image in my head.. And this may sound bit poetic.
When there is full moon, Flutterwolf is howling for the moon for she misses her Pegasus in red and black; who wears a hat.

Originally, yes, she was just a recolor using GMod. If I drew her by hand, she'd have looked a little bit different. And now that I'm more adept at modeling, FlutterWolf's model is going to look more like what I had in my mind. Her fur and mane are a bit scruffier, the feathers of her wings are pointed rather than rounded, and her eyes are almond shaped rather than Fluttershy's oval shape. She also has two little fangs, a side effect of joining with the Timberwolves and their magic.
Lovely song choice and mental image.

For the music: While I'm not a big fan of the live action/CGI transformer films, I will say the score is spot on. I appreciate that Optimus Prime's theme uses a flute to play the initial theme. I feel like it pays homage back to his simple origins as the dock worker/data clerk Orion Pax, depending which continuity you subscribe to. Yes, I'm a major Transformers geek. My favorite of all time is G1 Jazz. Dude's just that one cool guy who will be your friend no matter what other people think about you. Second favorite would be a tie between Ratchet and Knock Out from Transformers: Prime. Gotta love that snark.
For poetic words: I'm prone to use flowery prose myself.
For updated Shadow Rush: I like his new hat design, but I personally think the red and white mane makes him look like a candy cane.

I've been watching the videos. They're very good. I appreciate the level of detail you get without becoming long-winded, a common problem I see in other review-types.
I was never able to get into the comic book series because there weren't any comic shops in my area, and while a bunch have sprung up now, none of them carry old volumes. I'm glad that you've got mentions of them.
My knowledge tends to jump around the timeline. I've watched the G1, Beast Machines, Armada, Animated, and Prime series all the way through, and bits and pieces of the others that got brought overseas. Again, I didn't have great access to all of it.
What are your favorite iterations, TV show, comic book, or otherwise? I'm always looking for new stuff to satisfy my addiction, but finding really good stuff can be tricky given how much of a history it has.

My, that's good question what is my favorite.
Well, my interest towards TransFormers triggered when I first time saw TF: Armada. And from there; I have seen all three Unicron Trilogy series, seen 2001RID, TF: Animated, even seen Beast Wars from star to finish though bit of Beast Machines (if I remember right) and I have seen both TFP & TFP Beast Hunters. I have even watched Rescue Bots and 2015RID from season one to 2015RID's Combiner Force season.
And I have also seen all five Cinematic TF films as well and despite angry fan yelling; I liked them all.
Now, I'm in process of watching TF: Cyberverse and plan to see Bumblebee's solo film asap.
At first, I was able to keep track with TF IDW with preview news until I found readcomicsonline.com; from there I have managed to keep proper track with TF IDW to it's final issues. I'm looking forward rebooted TF IDW what is going to start March. Not to mention I even managed to find TF convention exclusive comics from readcomicsonline.com and even TF: Collectors Club's comics.
I say, that TF IDW was interesting to follow though I get in that track when Combiner Wars was getting wrapped up in TF IDW.
TF IDW brought some good ideas what wouldn't had been used in public TF cartoon such as same gender relationships, new concepts like female combiner, familiar characters become god guy e.g. old buckethead Megs or bots that have been around since dawn of time and making long distant plans for the future and so on.
I bet, you would be interested to read this what covers what TF IDW what started in 2005 and run to 2018 presented; complete history and more.

I've been curious about IDW. I've wanted to read them, especially since they are broaching new topics as you've mentioned. Thanks for giving me a site to find them on. I will admit that I prefer physical books, so reading it online will be...interesting.
Love the shameless plug at the bottom. I saw that a bit ago and was planning on getting it.
I don't like most of the Cinematic films not necessarily from the fan aspect (though there's a little of that sprinkled on top), but they just were a mess to watch for me. There was so much happening and constantly being chucked at you that none of it made any meaningful impact. Age of Extinction was fun, simply because how can you not like Optimus riding a Dinobot. The first three just...way overstayed their welcome. It's frustrating because I could see a great movie in all of them, but it was so oversaturated by unnecessary things that I just kept tuning out. And to me The Last Knight was...I'll go with disjointed. Again, too many things all competing for the spotlight.
I have seen Bumblebee, and it was really good. A little fan-servicy upfront, but I don't think it detracted from the rest of the film. There was one bit that got an eye-roll out of me, and I'm pretty sure when you see it you'll know exactly what bit I'm talking about. Otherwise it was a fun 80's love letter.
Speaking of which, I forgot to mention that I have seen the '86 movie. I have mixed emotions. Nostalgia glasses make me like it, logic glasses go "The hell?", but under it all my love of 80's power ballads wins out.

I have also seen '86 TF: The Movie, though if I remember right I actually get to see it before I get to see TF: Armada.
Though as you may have noticed, I'm also TF toy collector. I assume you have seen photos of my last 2018 TF toy haul?
Feel free to visit my photo galleries and pick your favorites.
What else you would like to ask from little me?

Hello there. I wanna give you something.
Always Something More Beautiful
By Stephen Dunn
This time I came to the starting place
with my best running shoes, and pure speed
held back for the finish, came with only love
of the clock and the underfooting
and the other runners. Each of us would
be testing excellence and endurance
in the other, though in the past I’d often
veer off to follow some feral distraction
down a side path, allowing myself
to pursue something odd or beautiful,
becoming acquainted with a few of the ways
not to blame myself for failing to succeed.
I had come to believe what’s beautiful
had more to do with daring
to take yourself seriously, to stay
the course, whatever the course might be.
The person in front seemed ready to fade,
his long, graceful stride shortening
as I came up along his side. I was sure now
I’d at least exceed my best time.
But the man with the famous final kick
already had begun his move. Beautiful, I heard
a spectator say, as if something inevitable
about to come from nowhere was again on its way.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!! ^^

The happier answer is that it is a gift from a fallen child.
The sad answer is that it's a memoir of a child who died. One that he tried to protect and failed to do so. Or if we go into the really dark side of things, one that was a test subject that he now regrets using as such.
