ahoy.

that poem you asked about, sexually blahblah or whatever it was, could more or less be about anything you suggested. mostly it's about the whole sex routine and how this 'dirty' thing fits into a little niche and satisfies this one urge and no one ever thinks about it beyond that. i don't know. if someone's not satisfied day to day, sex can't change that.

i'm glad you liked what you read.

So stop by and post any political works you've got, if you would be so kind. Merci pour tes temps.. Bonne journee!

thank you for your critique of my poem. i really appreciate any kind of critique/feedback i get. i'm never really sure how to explain my poems because i lack all of the technical vocabulary about poetry. i'm glad you could shed some light on that for me.

Hey, thanx for the comments you left on Dreaming on Concrete I and II.

As for Eastern European architecture, not all of it is as bleak as the stuff on my "Dreaming in concrete" pics of course--it's only the construction projects of the late communist regimes which look this square and cold. However, for some weird reason, I think even these ugly grey buildings have a sort of magic of their own... Of course that is probably a matter of point of view.

And as for Dreaming in Concrete I, I haven't taken a picture for the top of the stairs--quite frankly I am not sure I could get into that building at all... But maybe someday, I'll try.

Well, anyhow, thanx for the thoughtful comments you offered! I appreciated them.

Right now I gotta run, but if I get around to it I would like to come back to check out your work also.

Thanks for your comment on Fallen Gothic. "but in a way, it's sort of like they're being swallowed by/emerging from the darkness." That made me laugh a bit, because it wasn't intentional. Thanks for pointing it out It was originally intended to just be a poem, but as I worked on the screenshot/tag for it, that is what developed. If I can find a picture of a black or dead or dying rose, I'll be making v2

Thanks once again.

Hey thanks for the comments mate... good feedback yeah. As for what you said, its true... however for the most part i long for authenticity... if i spell somethign wrong the first time, it will stay that way even though it may look unprofessional or make me look like a 13 year old. same with rhyme, if its in my head i will say it becuase isnt that what poetry is anyway? its not a search for the right word its putting the words to paper. sometimes it works, sometimes its crap but for the most part thats how it is in our heads isnt it? anyway. thats my stupid insanity, and im off to read and comment on your extensive library of work! *holds nose and dives in*

Thanks for the comments on 'cigarettes and flowers'. I kinda liked the juxtaposition of the title and the poem itself. It had a roughness I imagined mimicked the texture of the sand in the ashtray, but thats just me. Thanks for reading.

My style has changed quite a bit since this was written, but it's always refreshing to hear that someone enjoys and appreciates anything I've written, even if it's aged the better part of a decade.

Cheers!

Ah thanks for your comment on "sweet". I think I'm a mostly savoury girl. I tend to think of sweet things as beeing sickly and kind of overpowering, so that's where that came from. Having said that, I'm a sucker for strawberry laces. It may be the e numbers.

Checking out your stuff now as your titles intrigue me...
