Other Interests: Fanfiction, food, finishing crossword puzzles, furry animals, forgoing work, foruming and seeing how many f-words I can think of
# About me
I'm more of a writing person than a drawing one. Words seem more purposeful and have the ability to create more imagery than any picture I've ever made. That said, sketching or better word, doodling has been a useful creative vent of late.I started using fountain pens about 5 years ago and that allowed such a variety of colors and different writing styles into my life. Why go for dull and uniform blacks or blues when you can try *all* the different shades of every color? Really, the only limit is how many inks your wallet and your desk can handle. This started the calligraphy craze and eventually, the return of doodling.
Aided and abetted by down time at work, I've taken to a less than serious approach to drawing and it's helped, subject-wise and even materials-wise. Am currently in my second attempt with watercolors, which I swear are the worst but using the proper watercolor paper (I should know paper makes a difference being a fp'ner) there's been slow progress but progress nonetheless.
Not sure how long this phase will last but I'm sure I'll be back in due time. Until then, happy wanderings.
