De nada, it's an outstanding spoof. Everybody can do (and does) a LOL cat. To stage such a portrait is beyond simple memes, the Afghan Cat would make the perfect mascot for Orphaned Cats help organisations. Or a social design poster for the WSPA [link] , slogan "War affects animals, too" or an anti war poster in general, "Would you bomb a pet? So why do you bomb the family it belongs to?".

just wanted to let you know that I haven't sent the postcards yet. remind me to do that, I keep putting it off! hell, I haven't even written anything on them yet. do you care if there's something written on the back, or can I just leave it blank? because I don't know what to say.

Don't forget about the postcards! I don't expect an epic "Lulu's amazing adventures in Florida" novel, a simple "Hello" does it, too.

No problem, you don't have to bother with a fancy message. Here's a text template for Holiday postcards, not neccessarily in that order:
Weather: Sucks / Fine
Food: Sucks / Fine
Place / Room: Sucks / Fine
Fauna / Flora: Sucks / Fine
Natives: Suck / Fine
Company: Sucks / Fine

Don't ge me wrong, but isn't there any worse cosplay than a lump in Zelda's clothing, and I'm not talking about the shape. I've seen dozens of Queens of Heart with exactely the same shape like Helena Bonham Carter, but without even a quantum of her royal mad charisma. Good cosplay is acting, it means to pose and mimic. Everything else is just Halloween or less. Cosplay isn't a religion or sience, but a serious hobby at least. "Just" a craft as long you reproduce existing characters and designs, art if you develop your own stuff. My 2 cents... yes, quoting me you can, young Padawan!

....WOW. You sir have an extrodinary way with words.
I'm still laughing about the Zelda part.
Thank you, this really means a lot to me.
(I know my cosplay isn't always 150% "oh my gosh, she looks just like her," mainly becuase of my.... chubby figure, but I certainly try to do justice to the actresses/characters/et cetera.)
Quoting you I can?! Quoting you I will!

Well, if there was a Nobel Prize for smart smartassing, I would win every year!
Like I said, forget about shapes ("chubby" sounds nice, but it is sort of a downgrade used with adults, a German gentleman would call it "barock" or a "Rubensweib" at least). I don't even care if a Sailormoon is twice my size as long she has some charisma. By the way, HBC as Queen of Hearts is artistic freedom, the template for her character in the book was Queen Victoria (at the age of 46: [link] ), not a superdeformed Tudor elf. So you are even closer to the original than HBC herself. Hey, why don't you try the young Victoria? Historic cosplay is the fine art of.

Closer than HBC herself.... woooow.
