in season 1,there were many cut scenes of american tournament,in those cut scenes we can see that judy cared for max and was happy when she lost in the match with mayor and stuff,there were may more cut scenes of all episodes of american tournament,maxeven cried the 20th epsiode when he was unable to meet his mother,there were two such scenes where we can see his eyes full of tears and he also screamed.in japanese version it was shown that max was upset beacuse his mother eas in oppsing team and he wanted 2 spend some time with her,but in american version it was hsown that he simply wnated to show her his blading
i am also a fan of judy because i like max so i like her also but my interest has gone down coz may years have spend when i watched beyblade

They did show Max getting upset and teary in the American dub, because he thought that if he could blade well his mum would spend more time with him rather than with the All Starz (it's when Grandpa walks in the room all dressed up in American clothes, he goes running out in a tantrum). They kept that whole dynamic pretty intact between Max and Judy from version to version!
LOL, I'm so glad someone else likes Judy too. I think she's misunderstood. She's like a lot of mothers, her job keeps her away from her kids, but the love is still there.
