INVITATION - INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF PORTRAITS AND CARICATURES

- Cartoonists Association from Romania preparing a bigger exhibition.

- We invite you to participate in this cultural project.
For this you need to send the portrait or caricature of Ion Luca Caragiale ([link] ) and/or Mihai Eminescu ([link] )

- Will be printing a catalog of exhibition. All participants will receive the exhibition catalogue free of charge.

- Digital designs must have 300 dpi resolution and size 21x30 cm or bigger.

- You must send, also, artist photo and a brief biography. They will be printed on the album.

Hey lady, I'm doing okay. I'm tired all of the time, which is not so cool. I don't even know why...maybe stress. I get enough sleep, and I'm not up late or anything. It's kind of a pain. Plus EE is due on Tuesday, and I'm pretty far below the WC.
Other than that, makin' art 'n' stuff. My camera's LCD screen just broke, so digi-cam stuff is at a standstill for now. :( (Sad) Hopefully will be getting an SLR soon, however.
I'd like to see you when you're back! You're coming back for the winter holidays right?
PS. How's the big COLLEGE?

You basically get a sketch. Of anything. No fancy finished drawings or anything, but just like... a pencil sketch, quick ink drawing, oekaki, etc. Yeah. It's pretty basic.

I don't really have any "can't draw this" taboos, so whatever you want has a 99.9% probability of being okay with me.

welp. any kind of medium is perfect by me. i like things surreal and/or abstract. if you could do a scene of a couple in a gondola, but his head is a crow? i dunno, the image is in my head from an old children's book i used to read, i think it was Crow and Weasel, it was a Native American story. Anyhow, run with the concept and make it your own. I love all your work. I'd just like to keep the basic idea of a gondola and a boy/girl couple intact. the scenery can be whatever you'd like. <3

Very cool! Her work reminds me of Esao's: [link] , only it's not quite as f*ed up in the head as his (for better or for worse).
